Student answer (Band 5.0)
Global fashion become such a strong influence on peoples lives.Although some might consider it negative but i believe it to extremely beneficial. Not only because of more clothing choice, culture exchange but aslo because of affordable clothing. This essay will ecplore how mega advatagies has potential to make this development an overall positive one.
There are multiple advantages associated with this topic.Firstly, more clothing choice. As,people can choose more design and styles form around the world.Take an example of recent survey conduted by university of califonea which reveled that when people visit different countries they may have a sence of more clothing. Thus, this mega benefit i believe has potential to make this development an overall positive one.
Secondly, culture exchange can be labelled another major benefit.A report i read published by times highlights which reaveld that people can learn about other countries culture through fashion. It is consider another major benefit.
Finally,it is last but not the least factor in support of my point of view is that affordable clothing,AS,international competition can make fashionable clothes available at different prices.
To sum up, this topic might have some drawback too but i believe the benefits in term of more clothing, culture exchange but also because of affordable clothing have potential to make this development an overall positive outlook.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You state a clear view that global fashion is beneficial and give three relevant reasons: wider clothing choice, cultural exchange, and affordability. However, the response only minimally explains how global fashion became influential, which is a central part of the question; most of the essay lists benefits instead. The examples about a university survey and a report are vague and do not show clearly how the claims support your position. The conclusion repeats the benefits rather than adding a developed summary. The response is 200 words, so it is 50 words below the required minimum; this limits the space available to explain and support your ideas. Develop both parts of the question with specific, relevant examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for three benefits, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” “Finally,” and “To sum up” help readers follow the intended order. However, progression is limited because each body paragraph makes a brief claim without developing it, and the conclusion largely repeats the introduction. Some links are mechanical or unclear, such as “As” beginning a sentence fragment and “Not only because” introducing an incomplete construction. The repeated phrase “major benefit” also makes the paragraphs feel formulaic. To improve, connect each reason to an explanation and a concrete example, and use referencing and transitions that show how ideas relate rather than relying mainly on listing signals.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “global fashion,” “culture exchange,” “international competition,” and “affordable clothing,” so the main subject is generally clear. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repetitive, particularly “major benefit” and “overall positive.” There are also frequent spelling errors, including “ecplore,” “advatagies,” “conduted,” and “reaveld,” which reduce accuracy and can make the reader pause. Some word combinations are unnatural, such as “a sense of more clothing” and “positive outlook” when describing the development. Build a more precise range for discussing influence, such as access, exposure, consumer demand, and cultural exchange, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some complex structures, including “Although some might consider it negative…” and “Not only because…,” and use simple sentences to present the three reasons. However, the complex attempts are often incomplete or inaccurately formed, and the overall range remains limited. For example, “Global fashion become” lacks the correct verb form, while “Although some might consider it negative but…” combines two contrasting structures incorrectly. “As, people can choose…” is a fragment, and “Finally,it is last but not the least factor…” has faulty sentence construction. Missing spaces after punctuation and inconsistent capitalisation also affect readability. Practise complete sentences with accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and clause links before adding more complex structures.
