Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: social media and international brands are given as reasons for fashion’s influence, and you present a mixed view by noting opportunities to explore styles alongside cultural loss. The examples of influencers and clothing available in Haryana help make the causes relevant. However, your overall judgement is not fully clear: the introduction says the development is positive, but then emphasises detrimental effects, while the conclusion again focuses on harm. The positive effects are also less developed than the cultural-identity concern; explain more specifically how exposure to global styles benefits people, rather than simply saying they can learn about trends. A consistent position and fuller support for both sides would strengthen the response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, a paragraph explaining causes, a paragraph considering effects, and a conclusion. Ideas generally follow a sensible order, and examples are placed near the points they support. However, some linking is mechanical or confusing. In particular, “Although this is a positive development. However” creates a contradictory transition, and the effects paragraph repeats “Although” and “However” without clearly showing how the ideas relate. The conclusion also repeats the same contrast rather than resolving it. Use fewer, more precise linking expressions and make the relationship between each claim explicit. Clearer referencing and a consistent position would make the progression easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “global fashion trends,” “fast fashion brands,” “supply chains,” “e-commerce,” and “cultural identity.” These choices help you discuss both the causes and consequences of the trend, and the examples are generally understandable. There are, however, some inaccurate or awkward word choices and spelling errors, such as “dressing sense,” “socially-active,” “traditonal attries,” and “developement.” Some phrases are also imprecise: “experience the iconic fashion brands” does not clearly express the intended benefit, and “western fashion trend” would be more natural in the plural or with an article. Aim for accurate collocations and proofread spelling so that your vocabulary communicates ideas more precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a cause-and-effect explanation with “Due the efficient supply chains and e-commerce” and a contrast between positive and negative effects. However, some errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction recur. For example, “people argued that dressing sense … are” has a mismatch between the subject and verb, while “This trend have” and “it help” also need agreement correction. The opening contains an incomplete contrast structure (“although … However”), and “people to influenced” is not a correct infinitive construction. These errors do not usually prevent understanding, but they reduce accuracy. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and building complete sentences around subordinating conjunctions such as “although.”
