Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays, foreign clothing market is leading on the peak and individuals are follow global trends. I believe that this a positive development because it familiar different culture together and another primary influence is the social media.

To start with, in this digital era people are getting ready and post their looks. Sometimes they get dressed according to their culture. If some of there look went viral and become a trend in such a cases there culture can known and foreign citizen will get aware of there culture as well as for their dressing style. For exmaple, gujarat is hosting a event for navratri and in this event number of people are joining and playing garba. In this event locals were wear their cultural garment that shows about gujarati culture and they can know more about it. As a result, people who were not familiar with their culture were get familiar there self with other culture.

On the other hand, primary reason is the social media. Via instagram, snapchat and tiktok we all know the latest trend and keep eye on it. If a recent style is popular then that same style can be copy and become part of that trend. For example, In recent a famous fashion creater post her whole look on instagram of her own brand and it goes viral. As a result, the hype of that outfit was so demanding among people. They were purchased that design and they were memic her style. Therfore, her brand become well known and made huge some of money.

In conclusion, this globle trends have so many positive development as i mension and it also create profit for some brand and give reputation for unkown culture.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear positive view and attempt to answer both questions: social media is presented as a reason global fashion spreads, while the Navratri example is used to show how clothing trends can introduce people to another culture. However, the explanation of how fashion became influential is only partly developed. The opening mentions social media, but the first body paragraph focuses more on cultural awareness than on the mechanisms that make global trends influential. The examples are relevant, yet the Navratri link to global fashion is not fully explained, and the fashion creator example mainly describes sales and popularity. Develop each point with a clearer cause-and-effect explanation and make the connection to the question explicit.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the paragraphs broadly separate cultural influence from social media. Linking phrases such as “To start with,” “On the other hand” and “As a result” help show relationships between ideas. However, progression is sometimes unclear: “On the other hand” suggests a contrast, although social media is another supporting reason for your positive view. Several references, including “there culture” and “that same style,” make it difficult to identify exactly whose culture or which style is meant. The conclusion repeats the main points rather than drawing them together. Use more precise referencing and choose transitions that reflect the actual relationship between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “global trends,” “cultural garment,” “viral,” “latest trend” and “brand,” so the reader can follow the general subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the response difficult to understand. Phrases such as “leading on the peak,” “keep eye on it,” “huge some of money” and “made reputation for unknown culture” are not natural in this context. Spelling errors such as “exmaple,” “creater,” “memic” and “globle” also reduce clarity. Build a bank of accurate phrases for describing influence, popularity and cultural exchange, and check spelling and word forms during revision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “If a recent style is popular then that same style can be copy” and clauses beginning with “because” and “as a result.” However, errors are frequent, and some sentences require effort to interpret. Examples include “individuals are follow,” “this a positive development,” “locals were wear,” and “people … were get familiar,” which show problems with verb forms, auxiliaries and agreement. Articles and sentence construction are also inconsistent, as in “a event” and “in such a cases.” Practise forming complete clauses with accurate subject–verb patterns, then check each sentence for tense, auxiliary verbs and singular/plural agreement.
