Global fashion trends play a significant role in how people dress themselves. Many renowned brands such as Zara, Shein etc pull up their collections based on the trends that is curently on global trend.
Fashion becomes an important part of the people's lifestyle. In order to maintain a adorable and admirable lifestyle, people choose to adopt the fashion that most of the people are doing. The peopleare also scared to experience the rascism events in their lives that also led to the pressure of following the trend. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
You address the topic by explaining that people follow fashion to avoid feeling excluded and to keep up with changing trends. However, the response only partly answers the task: it does not clearly state whether this is a positive or negative development, and the reasons are asserted rather than supported with specific examples. The reference to fear of “rascism events” is unclear and does not explain how fashion trends cause this pressure. The response is also 72 words below the required minimum, which leaves little room to develop the causes or evaluate their effects. To improve, state your view directly, explain how global media, brands, or online influencers spread trends, and support each point with a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a basic progression: it introduces global brands, then discusses social pressure and the desire to fit in. Linking phrases such as “In order to” and “As the world is evolving” help show relationships between ideas. However, the organisation is limited, with no clear concluding paragraph and little separation between the explanation of causes and the evaluation of whether the trend is positive or negative. Some connections are also difficult to follow, particularly the move from feeling included to “rascism events” and then to working hard to upgrade one’s lifestyle. Use distinct paragraphs for the causes and your opinion, and make each sentence build clearly on the previous one.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “global fashion trends,” “latest trending fashion,” “majority,” and “included in the society.” These choices make the general subject understandable. However, the range is limited and several phrases are inaccurate or awkward, such as “maintain a adorable and admirable lifestyle,” “catch up with that race,” and “upgrade their lifestyles.” Spelling errors such as “curently,” “continously,” and “upgrage” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise collocations and avoid repeating “trend” and “fashion”; for example, you could refer to “keeping up with current styles,” “social pressure to conform,” or “international clothing brands.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including the sentence beginning “As the world is evolving so fast…,” and your main ideas can generally be understood. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. Examples include “the trends that is” instead of “the trends that are,” “peopleare” without a space, and “people choose to adopt the fashion that most of the people are doing,” which has an unclear grammatical construction. The opening also needs a more natural object phrase: people usually “dress” or “choose what to wear,” rather than “dress themselves” in this context. Practise subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
