Student answer (Band 5.5)
Globalization has revolutionalized everything, it impacts on our living standards including the way we dress-up. People's lives have influcened considerably by the worldwide fashion trends. Therefore, in this essay, I would like to elucidate the reason behind the global fashion to become such a sturdy affect on our lives following to my perspective, it is difficult for me to categorized it, whether it is a positive or a negative progress.
To begin with, every country represents their own culture and tradition in their dressing which provide them their own identity, Native people love to follow them regardless of any global fashion trends. Hence, its an exceptional way to promote and enhance your coulture through your traditional clothing. However, following global fashing trends can suppress this. Nowadays, people are excessively pursue the worldwide fashion modes, without realizing that it may impact adversly on your local fashion. Consequently, it decline their own hertiage.
Conversely, pursuing global fashion vogue can enable you to intreact with people at international level. It can mitigate the discrimination among us. Undoubtedly our culture gives us a distinct identity; however, these worldwide trends in fashion can unite us with each other. Additionally, several fashion shows, which provide opportunity to fashion designers to represent their work globally and to execute their exhibition in an exceptional waym they have to followed their modes which can be an authentic financial benefit for the people who are in this field. Neverthless, it does not mean you should completely disappear you local fashion, you can emerge it, sebsequently enable to present your own culture to the world to gain substantial appreciation at international level.
From my perspective, the situation has both notable merits and certain limitations, conclding that its overall impact is balanced.
In conclusion, there is nothing wrong to follow international fashion trends, whereas they strongly influence on our lives. While presenting neither purely advantageous nor adverse consequences for the overall development.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions by discussing cultural effects and offering a view that the development has advantages and disadvantages. The points about fashion weakening local heritage and connecting people internationally are relevant. However, the first question—how global fashion became so influential—is not directly explained: the essay focuses mainly on its effects, rather than causes such as social media, advertising, or international brands. Your position is also difficult to identify consistently. You say it is “difficult” to classify, later call its impact “balanced,” and conclude that it has “neither purely advantageous nor adverse consequences.” Develop a clear answer to both parts and support each main point with a specific example or explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting effects, and a conclusion. Connectors such as “To begin with,” “Conversely,” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression is sometimes weakened by abrupt or unclear links. For example, the fashion-show point appears within the paragraph about international connection without a clear explanation of how it supports that idea. The final paragraph repeats the balanced position but does not resolve the uncertainty introduced earlier. Some references, such as “it” and “they,” are also unclear. Group related ideas more tightly and use linking phrases to show precise cause-and-effect relationships.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “worldwide fashion trends,” “distinct identity,” “discrimination,” and “substantial appreciation.” These choices show an effort to express nuanced ideas about culture and international influence. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation, and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “sturdy affect” for a strong influence, “fashion modes,” “execute their exhibition,” and “disappear you local fashion.” There are also misspellings such as “influcened,” “coulture,” and “hertiage.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than formal-sounding phrases, and proofread spelling. More precise vocabulary would make your arguments clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including contrast clauses beginning with “However” and “whereas,” and a sentence using “which.” Nevertheless, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction can make the reader work to understand your meaning. For example, “People's lives have influcened” lacks the correct passive form, while “people are excessively pursue” combines incompatible verb forms. The long sentence beginning “Additionally, several fashion shows” is also difficult to parse because its clauses are not joined clearly. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea, then add subordinate clauses only when their grammatical relationship is clear.
