Student answer (Band 5.5)
sevaral aspects of the way people dress nowadays are impacts by worldwide fashion trends.
as global fashion become a strong infunce on people life i contemplate that it is a negative development because its encourges people to do unnecessary spending and social pressure.
In my prespective i believed that, worldwide fashion trends has a negvative impact on people lives due to the fact that it creates unneccessary spending for instance many people see advertisement of clothes on social media there are many plateforms like instagram, facebook, youtube etc. this creates unneccessary desire in their minds to buy that product even so they have that product addtionally they also want to show off in front of others to demonstrates that they can afford these products and are wealthy. Excessive interest in international brands also allow people to less appericiate their own tradiotional clothing.
For instance if i talk about myself once i just saw an advertisement on instagram of a dress, it cost me around 9000 i was so in to that dress due to fashion trends i just bought it and litterely it was a waste of money.
Although, global fashion has also good influenced on people live for instance These international fashion trends are also due to many influencers which encourges us to buy these dresses through social media, addtionally it is a source of money for them. so somehow it benefits them futhermore, it also encourage people to try new designs of different cultutres which is also beneficial.
In conclusion i would say that we should not spend alot of money on unneccassary items due to social pressure. it is good to be influenced by global trends but not that much, that you risk your own money for the seek of trends and to show off that you have money or demostrate that you can affort luxary dresses just yo You can save that money for some other day.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that global fashion is mostly negative, focusing on unnecessary spending and pressure to display wealth. The personal example of buying an expensive dress supports this position, and you also acknowledge benefits such as exposure to designs from other cultures. However, the task asks how global fashion became so influential, and this part is only partly explained: social-media advertising and influencers are mentioned, but the response does not develop how these channels spread trends or shape everyday choices. Some points, such as influencers earning money, are not clearly connected to whether the development is positive or negative. Explain the causes more directly and develop each main idea with a clear explanation and relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction to reasons, a counterpoint and a conclusion. The personal example also gives one paragraph a clear focus. However, progression is uneven: the first body paragraph combines advertising, showing off and the decline of traditional clothing, while the next shifts between influencers’ income and cultural designs without a clear link. Connectors such as “additionally,” “furthermore” and “although” are repeated or do not always show the relationship between ideas accurately. The conclusion repeats the warning about spending rather than drawing together the main reasons. Use one central idea per paragraph, and make each linking phrase reflect the actual connection between sentences.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “social pressure,” “international brands,” “traditional clothing” and “advertisement,” and the reader can generally identify your intended meaning. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make the writing less clear, such as “inf unce,” “appericiate,” “luxary” and “affort.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “good influenced on people live” and “show off in front of others to demonstrates.” These issues fit a response with noticeable errors and limited control of vocabulary. Build a bank of accurate topic phrases and check spelling and collocations; for example, use “influence people’s lives” and “display their wealth” rather than translating phrases word by word.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You try to use both simple and more extended sentences, including a reason clause with “due to the fact that” and a concession beginning “Although.” However, complex sentences are often difficult to follow because of errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence boundaries. For example, “worldwide fashion trends has” has a subject–verb agreement problem, and “it creates unnecessary desire … even so they have that product” does not form a clear grammatical relationship. The final sentence also runs on and contains several clauses without effective punctuation. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly attached supporting clause, then check agreement and punctuation before adding further ideas.
