Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argued that some people believe that nowadays people's lives are strongly influenced by global fashion.I think this can been seen as a negative development due to the fact that sometimes it promotes vulgur content and too much costly stuff.
On the one hand, over the recent years global fashion has left a strong influence on people's lives because of advertisements and influencers. Nowadays a lot of tv commercials and series are promoting fashions on different mediums. This highly influence people's lives and they get attracted so easily. For instance in many countries fashion makeup products are advetised on televisons and social media, this creates influence on young teens or people who spend most of their time on smart phones or electrical devices.Secondly, a lot of youtube, tiktock influencers are also promoting different beauty or fashion products on their channels.
On the other hand some people believe that strong influence of global fashion on people lives have certain drawbacks also, which include sometimes promoting unethical content or products, and other reason is cost. Sometimes marketing agencies need to look for the products which they are promoting on TV can be viewed by all age group audiences or not or if the product advertisement contains something vulgur or sensitive they should pose a age restriction of 18 plus. For example some products of balenciaga is not for children which they are promoting on social media. Additionally, sometimes these global fashion products are out of reach of some families because they are so expensive that a normal salaried employee cannot afford them.
In conclusion, while global fashion is heavily influencial to promoto new trends and fashion, although I believe that this is a not postive development due to its sensual content and prices. Therefore companies should pose age restrictions and make cost effective products.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you explain that advertising and social-media influencers spread global fashion, and you give a clear view that its effects are negative. The examples of makeup promotion and expensive products help make your points relevant. However, the explanation of how fashion became influential is less developed than the discussion of its drawbacks; for instance, you mention television, series and influencers but do not explain in detail how repeated exposure or global access changes people’s choices. The point about “vulgur content” is also unclear and would benefit from a specific explanation of what content is harmful and why. Develop each main idea with a clearer cause-and-effect explanation and a more precise example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting different aspects, and a conclusion. The progression from advertising and influencers to concerns about content and affordability is generally understandable. You also use signposts such as “On the one hand,” “Secondly,” and “Additionally.” However, the contrast between the two body paragraphs is not fully clear: “On the other hand” introduces drawbacks, but the first paragraph explains causes rather than benefits. Some linking is mechanical, and several ideas are crowded into long sentences, particularly the discussion of age restrictions. Improve cohesion by grouping each paragraph around one clear purpose, using more precise transitions, and making references between sentences explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “global fashion,” “influencers,” “marketing agencies,” “age restriction,” and “afford.” These choices allow you to discuss both the spread of trends and their possible social and financial effects. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “vulgur,” “advetised,” “influencial,” and “promoto.” Some expressions are also imprecise or unnatural, such as “fashion makeup products,” “creates influence,” and “sensual content,” which makes parts of the argument less clear. Aim for accurate collocations and more specific wording—for example, distinguish between inappropriate advertising and sexually suggestive content. Proofreading spelling and checking phrases in context would make your vocabulary more effective.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because,” “which,” and “that,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, plurals and sentence boundaries occur across the response. Examples include “this can been seen,” “This highly influence,” and “products … have certain drawbacks”; these should be revised to use accurate verb forms and subject–verb agreement. Several sentences also run together, such as the opening and the final sentence, where punctuation is needed to separate complete ideas. The long sentence about checking advertisements for age suitability is difficult to control. Use shorter, well-punctuated sentences alongside complex structures, and proofread each sentence for agreement and verb form.
