Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, individuals throughout the world are more inclined towards global fashion trends that are later projected in their sense of dressing. I believe it is a positive development as social media and campaigns on fashion world has a great influence.
Social media is the strongest tool that motivates and aware people about what is trending these days and what fit to their body type. It has reduced stress especially among obeses population. For example, In today's time people has accept the fact that they do not want to fit in certain beauty standards, they are satisfied with their body. Through this mind-set they want to follow trendy dresses while availing customised option and all these information they get from media. In addition, Instagram is a great way to find find options.
On the other hand, fashion weeks also play a vital role of spreading knowledge about the dresses that are in trend. These campaigns give an idea to audience that how to carry those stuff in an elegant way. For instance, it is becoming common among the designers that they not only consider models that are fit to certain beauty standards, to promote this concept they consider model, short and long heighted, fair and dark skin to thin or thick, for a fashion courture campaign. Furthermore, this way they helped enormous number of people to get an idea, try and be confident.
In Conclusion, believing in yourself is the main point for any body to stay calm and away from mental exhaustion. Due to this, social media and designers are playing great part to help audience.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the prompt: social media and fashion campaigns are offered as reasons for global fashion’s influence, and you clearly judge this influence to be positive. The discussion of body acceptance and inclusive modelling is relevant, with examples such as designers featuring models of different heights and skin tones. However, the explanation of how these trends reach and shape people’s lives is more developed than the evaluation of whether the development is positive; the benefits are asserted, but their effects could be explained more fully. Some points, such as customised clothing and confidence, are introduced without enough detail to show how they support your argument. Develop each main idea with a clearer explanation and a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The body paragraphs also have distinct focuses, with social media discussed first and fashion weeks and designers next. Linking expressions such as “For example,” “In addition,” and “On the other hand” help signal relationships between ideas. However, “On the other hand” suggests a contrast that is not really present, since both paragraphs support the same positive view. Some connections are also unclear, particularly the move from body acceptance to customised clothing and then Instagram. The conclusion repeats the main point rather than drawing together the two reasons. Use more precise transitions and make the progression within each paragraph explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “global fashion trends,” “beauty standards,” “customised option,” and “fashion campaigns.” These choices show an attempt to discuss the topic beyond basic everyday language. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear: “motivates and aware people,” “what fit to their body type,” and “fashion courture campaign” are examples. There are also spelling and repetition issues, such as “find find” and “obeses.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations of words and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for the influence of online platforms and the inclusivity of fashion would help you express your ideas with greater clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “as,” “that,” and “while.” Most of the main ideas remain understandable, and the response is organised into complete sentences. Some grammatical errors persist, however, particularly with subject–verb agreement and verb forms: “campaigns … has,” “people has accept,” and “they not only consider” need correction. Articles and sentence construction also need attention, as in “give an idea to audience that how to carry those stuff.” The final sentence, “Due to this, social media and designers are playing great part,” is also missing an article. Review agreement, verb forms, and article use, then proofread complex sentences to ensure their parts fit together correctly.
