Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays, global fashion an important part of people life .The main reason are the soical media ,internet and other international brands. In my opinion global fashion are two both aspect, but negative aspect and more than postive aspect. when some people are ignore culture anf finance to follow the lastest fashion

Firstly, social media has engaged the people for international brands. Poeple watch different sytle fashion tiktok, instagram, youtube, facebook and other,And adpote this sytles. The famous actress and crickets, are adopt this fashion. For example, many young people are adopt in pakistan western systle jenze choltes and T-shrits and shoes.

On the other hand serval positive aspect in global fashion.. It allows people to express their personalities, experiment with different styles, and learn about other cultures. Furthermore, it supports the clothing industry and creates employment opportunities for designers, manufacturers, and shopkeepers. On the other side Specialy people are stronge develop the new fashion.Specialy lasdies side to be jealous of each to another ladies.

However ,the global fashion nagative aspect, not should be ignor. Many people are buy expensive clothes, to imitate other, which can be create finaical pressure .

I believe that global fashion can be a positive development if people follow it in control. We should benefit from new trends while respecting our culture, financial circumstances, and personal preferences. Fashion should help us express ourselves confidently rather than motivite us to blindly imitate others.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both parts of the question: you identify social media, the internet and international brands as influences, and you give a qualified view that fashion can be positive but is more negative when people imitate trends without considering culture or finances. The examples of young people in Pakistan adopting Western clothing and of expensive purchases causing financial pressure are relevant. However, several points are only briefly stated, and the claim about jealousy between women is not clearly connected to the overall argument. The conclusion is clear, but the position could be stated more consistently and supported with fuller explanations. The response is also 21 words below the required minimum, so it needs further development as well as additional length.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion. Paragraphs generally group related ideas, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “On the other hand” and “However” help show the intended direction. However, progression is uneven: the positive points about self-expression and employment are followed by an unclear comment about jealousy, while “On the other hand” and “On the other side” are used close together without a clear contrast. Some links between sentences are missing or awkward, and punctuation and spacing sometimes make the flow difficult to follow. Organise each body paragraph around one main point, explain it, and connect examples directly to that point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “global fashion,” “international brands,” “express their personalities,” “employment opportunities” and “financial pressure.” These phrases help communicate the main ideas. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “soical,” “adpote,” “crickets” and “nagative.” Some expressions are also unnatural, including “follow the lastest fashion” and “follow it in control.” Aim to use accurate collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise language for the causes and effects of fashion trends would help you explain your ideas without relying on repeated general terms such as “fashion” and “people.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the final sentence uses a clear contrast: “Fashion should help us express ourselves confidently rather than motivate us to blindly imitate others.” However, grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes make meaning difficult to follow. Examples include missing or incorrect forms in “global fashion an important part of people life,” “The main reason are,” and “Many people are buy expensive clothes.” There are also problems with articles, plurals, agreement and sentence boundaries. Build accuracy first with complete subject–verb sentences, then practise combining ideas using clauses such as “because” and “which.” Proofread for full stops, commas and consistent sentence capitalisation.
