Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, many people want to follow global dressing fashion trend. I partialy believe that this is a negative developments and our society face many problems this trend, this is beause low income person cannot follow this trend and people can waste their money.
To begin with, low income people already face many problems in his lives, since they earn very low income and they could pay many due in his lives, such as educational, medical and basic need due. A good reason is that, if we seen current fashion trend, we can a one similar thing is that all the global dress styles are very expensives, beacuse this trend just focus on the actress dressing styles, however, public figure already earn large amount in his life, they do not face any issue about the income and wealth. Moreover, when poor people could follow the trend, they feel bad and ambarrass and shames,Which is very damages our young people lives and society peace and peopleo just want to follow the global fashion with any ways, they do not thing about right and wrong method, they aim to just follow it.
Waste of money is a second major problems, this is because, when people seen new trend on social media and other platefroms, then they want to follow this fashion and like to buy clothers regarding new dress trends. For instance, something people change their clothes or purchase new clothes. Actually, they do not need to new clothes and already they have a huge clothes collection, but they follow want to wear the new trend clothes rather then they can be use this money for other important purpose like educational, and charity etc.
In conclusion, althrough, global fashion is a symbol of developments but the expensive cannot follow every person, so governments should take stronge steps reduce the expensive trend in our society and spread the important of charity rather then unneeds and unimportant trends.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear negative view and develop two relevant concerns: the cost of fashionable clothing for people on low incomes and unnecessary spending on new clothes. Examples such as buying clothes after seeing trends on social media help connect these points to everyday life. However, the task also asks how global fashion became such a strong influence, and this is only touched on through social media; the role of celebrities and wider global exposure needs clearer explanation. Some claims, such as fashion damaging “society peace,” are asserted rather than explained, and the conclusion’s suggestion that governments reduce expensive trends is not fully supported. Develop both parts of the question more evenly and explain the links between causes and effects.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate disadvantages, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main points, and the second body paragraph clearly shifts to wasteful spending. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “A good reason is that” does not clearly identify what it supports, while “Moreover” introduces a consequence that needs a more explicit link to the preceding point. Several sentences contain multiple ideas joined together, making progression harder to follow. Use clearer topic sentences, divide long sentences where needed, and make references such as “this trend” precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main concerns, including “global fashion,” “low income,” “social media,” “charity,” and “clothes collection.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “public figure” and “basic need.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or forms make parts difficult to understand: “expensives,” “ambarrass and shames,” “platefroms,” and “unneeds” are examples. Some phrases are also unnatural, including “follow global dressing fashion trend” and “spread the important of charity.” Build a bank of accurate collocations for fashion, affordability, and consumer spending, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise vocabulary would make your arguments clearer and less repetitive.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “since,” “if,” and “when,” so there is some variety in structure. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “I partialy believe that this is a negative developments,” “our society face many problems,” and “they do not need to new clothes.” Subject–verb agreement, articles, plurals, and verb patterns need particular attention. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “shames,Which is very damages.” Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a correctly formed subordinate clause, then check agreement and verb forms before adding further ideas.
