Student answer (Band 5.5)
Global fashion trends are the major causes of effects on view of people's dressing. Wolrd fashion has now such a strong impact on people's lives because of excessive use of social media and high exposure to the outer world trends. I think it is a negative development because it has high impact on the culture of a nation.
Social media is the primary cause for the impact of fashion on one's life. Nowadays, every fashion trend reaches one's mobile phone in a minute and their mind crave for the new fashion and encourages them to fall towards it. The problem rises from our elders, they should have introduced their children toward their own culture rather than the other clothing fashion of other countries. In young age of 5 to 10 years they should have taught the importance of their own clothes and teached them the vision behind each fashion piece and how to embrace that through out the world rather than choosing different nation's fashion. For Example, national dress of Pakistan is shalwar kameez, so it is a duty of every Pakistani to wear it and embrace it through out the world rather than choosing western clothing.
It is a negative development because if nation continous to embrace the likelihood of the other nations, what will happen to their own culture. The culture where they spent their whole life but still neglected it. The adaptation of the new culture is like a slow posion to their own culture. If everything things goes according to this soon the posion will spread in whole country and will totally destroy that nation's elder whom sacrificed their whole lives so that the culture reachers our generation. For instance, if we as a Pakistani nation chose to totally adapt western clothing, the culture that out parents or grandparents whom shed their blood it can be carried by us will all go in vain.
In conclusion, world fashion is highly impactful on people and it spreaded through the digital connectivety of whole world. These Adaptions are negative development because it is like sacrificing their own culture for sake of others.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you identify social media and exposure to international trends as reasons for fashion’s influence, and you clearly judge this influence to be negative because it may weaken national culture. The Pakistan example gives your position a relevant, concrete focus. However, the explanation of how trends spread is more developed than the causes themselves: the discussion of elders’ responsibility shifts toward advice about cultural education rather than explaining the wider influence of global fashion. The negative effects are also repeated in terms of cultural loss, with limited exploration of other consequences or a more specific illustration. Develop each main point with a clear explanation and evidence, and distinguish the causes from your evaluation more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs develop the causes and negative effects, and a conclusion restates your position. Linking phrases such as “Nowadays,” “For instance,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main stages. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, the move from social media to what elders should teach children does not fully explain the link between the two ideas, while the long sentence beginning “If everything things goes according to this” makes the argument difficult to follow. The second body paragraph also repeats the idea of cultural loss rather than progressing to a distinct supporting point. Use clearer topic sentences and divide complex ideas into shorter, logically connected sentences.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “global fashion trends,” “social media,” “national dress,” “adaptation,” and “culture.” Phrases such as “slow poison” communicate your concern vividly, and the Pakistan example helps make the discussion specific. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “major causes of effects on view,” “fall towards it,” and “digital connectivity of whole world.” Spelling errors such as “Wolrd,” “posion,” and “continous” also reduce accuracy. Some repetition of “culture” and “fashion” limits flexibility. Aim for precise, natural combinations—for example, describe trends as “influencing clothing choices” and say that social media “exposes users to” new styles.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if nation continues to embrace…” and relative clauses such as “whom shed their whole lives.” This shows an effort to express cause, consequence, and examples. However, errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and verb forms are frequent enough to make some passages difficult to understand. Examples include “their mind crave,” “if nation continous,” and the incomplete, tangled construction “the culture that out parents or grandparents whom shed their blood it can be carried by us.” Punctuation and sentence boundaries also need attention, particularly where several ideas run together. Practise building accurate clauses first, then combine them with controlled use of conditionals and relative clauses.
