Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, the people prefer to weare a trending clothes that is infulenced globally. This is because of the famous people who always dress fancy and new designs for being attractive between comunities and their followers follow them blindly and I agree with that people should follow alter fashion trends.

One major reasone why I support this approach is that the global fashion trends is changing every year. Many famous celebrities like Tom Cruise, Rober Downey Jr. wear proffesional clothes like suites. People who continuously follow them or admire them has role model, they keep trying follow their dressing scense. By following new trends people feel confident and they keep attracting oublic attentions. So, higly influece people play important role in to create any fashion trends.

On the other hand, fashion trends increasing widely all around the world. Their is negative aspects of following new trends. Firstly, people try to follow new trends at that time many of them feel insecure or uncomfortable. Many time celebrities also feelt embaresment in events. As a result, they loat their reputation. Many time clothes lost their trend and never got a hype. So, it's also affect clothing industry or retailers.

In conclusion, i farmly agree to follow global fashion trends. this is most hyped by famous celebrities or higly influensed people. Throught that many people feelt confortabel to weare trending clothes, But, some of them find difficulty to weare. While, its also affect clothing induatry also. Its have both nagative and possitiv

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address both questions: you identify celebrities and their followers as a source of influence, and you express support for global fashion while acknowledging drawbacks. However, the explanation of how fashion became influential is narrow, focusing almost entirely on famous people; other relevant mechanisms, such as social media, advertising, or international brands, are not explored. Your position is also inconsistent: you say people “should follow” trends, but the conclusion mentions both positive and negative effects without clearly resolving your view. The examples about celebrities and confidence are relevant but need fuller explanation, and the negative points are unclear. The response is also two words below the required minimum. Develop both parts more fully and state a consistent judgement throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “One major reason” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. These paragraph divisions help the reader identify the main stages of your answer. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the point about celebrities feeling embarrassed and losing their reputation is not clearly connected to the effect of fashion trends, and the final body paragraph shifts to the clothing industry without explaining the link. Some connectors, including “So” and “As a result,” are used, but relationships between ideas are not always clear. Improve cohesion by organising each paragraph around one main point and explaining how each example supports it.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “global fashion trends,” “role model,” “confident,” and “clothing industry.” These choices show that you can communicate the general subject and make some effort to use topic-specific language. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or misspelled expressions make parts difficult to understand, such as “dressing scense,” “higly influece people,” and “lost their trend.” Some phrases are also unnatural, for example “attracting public attentions” and “follow alter fashion trends.” Aim to learn accurate collocations and check spelling carefully; clearer choices such as “fashion sense,” “influential figures,” and “attract public attention” would make your ideas easier to follow.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple sentences and attempts at longer structures, including “This is because…” and “As a result…,” so there is some variety in sentence form. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make several ideas hard to interpret. For example, “Many famous celebrities … wear professional clothes” is followed by “People … has role model,” where the subject and verb do not agree and the sentence structure is incomplete. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and verb forms, as in “the global fashion trends is changing” and “it’s also affect.” The conclusion contains incomplete or poorly connected sentences. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and proofreading sentence boundaries.
