Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You address both questions by suggesting that global fashion spreads through market availability and popularity among young people, and by identifying economic benefits alongside possible financial losses. However, the explanation of how it became influential is unclear: claims such as “it help to strong influence on people live” do not explain the role of media, international brands, or online shopping. Your positive and negative positions are also difficult to weigh, and examples are not developed enough to support them. The response is 244 words, six words below the required minimum; the 25 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. To improve, state a clear overall view and explain each main reason with a specific example and its consequences.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “On the on hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. These markers help readers recognise the intended contrast. However, progression within paragraphs is weak: the first body paragraph moves from cheap availability to jobs, culture, exports, and young people without showing how the points connect. Linking phrases such as “However” and “after that” are sometimes used where the relationship between ideas is unclear, and the conclusion largely repeats earlier claims rather than drawing them together. Organise each paragraph around one main idea, then explain it in a logical sequence; use referencing and connectors only when their relationship is clear.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some task-related vocabulary, including “global fashion,” “economy,” “materials,” “financial loss,” and “culture,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is basic and repetitive, and frequent spelling and word-choice problems make several points difficult to understand. Examples include “fashinon,” “chepest,” “intrested,” and “globle”; phrases such as “global fashion dress” and “dedicate to our culture” are also unnatural or unclear. Aim to learn accurate collocations for discussing fashion and its effects, and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would help you explain how trends spread and distinguish economic benefits from the risks of unsold stock or cultural change.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt a few longer sentences and use basic contrast structures, including “However” and “On the other hand.” Most sentences, though, rely on simple patterns, and frequent errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and verb forms sometimes obscure meaning. For example, “it help to strong influence on people live” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “global fashion dress are available” has agreement problems. The opening also joins ideas without appropriate punctuation, and the conclusion contains an incomplete or unclear relationship between its clauses. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with clauses using “because,” “although,” and “which.” Check that each sentence has a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
