Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today's era, fashion industries have an amazing influence on public. In last few decades, there has been a big change in dressing sense of people. Every person wants to look amazing, doesn't matter what is the occasion.
On the one hand, people think it as a trend that changes with time. It helps humans to get noticed. Some individuals find it peaceful to get well dressed. It is also related to the status of a soul in the society. Designers show their creativity through the cloths. There are several fashion designers who works independently and have a social media platform to get noticed by the public for their work eg. Urfi Javed.
On the other hand, People find it little disturbing. In the name of fashion, people are wearing cloths which are not suitable from the religious prespective and can have a negative impact on mentality. According to the ancient scriptures, dressing modestly is the best thing to do. It does not affect the sentements of other individuals.
All things considered, it is a controvercial topic for debate.Overall, everyone should have the freedom to wear whatever they want however they should also respect other's feelings.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a general response to both questions: you mention social media and designers as influences, and present concerns about modesty alongside the freedom to choose clothing. However, the explanation of how global trends became influential is very limited; the example of Urfi Javed is named but not explained, and there is little discussion of channels such as international brands, online platforms, or celebrity culture. Your view on whether this is positive or negative is also not fully clear: the conclusion supports personal freedom but adds a qualification about respecting others, without weighing the overall effects. The response is 54 words below the required minimum, which leaves too little space to develop and support the main ideas. Expand the explanation and give specific examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two contrasting body paragraphs signalled by “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a concluding statement. This makes the main direction easy to follow. However, the progression within paragraphs is sometimes loose: the first body paragraph moves from being noticed to personal satisfaction, social status, and designers without showing how these points connect to global influence. The contrast between the two sides is also not fully resolved in the conclusion. Some linking is mechanical, and “All things considered” is joined directly to “Overall” without appropriate spacing or a clear transition. Use topic sentences and connect each supporting point explicitly to the question.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a reasonable range of topic-related vocabulary, including “fashion industries,” “trend,” “designers,” “modestly,” and “freedom.” These choices allow the reader to understand the general ideas, and there are attempts at less common expressions such as “social status” and “negative impact.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “influence on public,” “dressing sense,” “status of a soul in the society,” and “cloths.” Spelling errors such as “prespective,” “sentements,” and “controvercial” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise, natural phrases and check spelling carefully; for example, describe fashion’s influence on “the public” and refer to “clothing” rather than “cloths.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use mostly straightforward sentences, with some attempts at more complex structures, such as “Every person wants to look amazing, doesn't matter what is the occasion” and the final sentence beginning “everyone should have the freedom…”. The overall meaning is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “there has been a big change in dressing sense of people” needs clearer article and possessive use, while “designers who works” has a subject–verb agreement error. The sentence about clothing “which are not suitable … and can have” also has an unclear grammatical reference. Punctuation is occasionally faulty, particularly the run-together conclusion, “All things considered, it is a controvercial topic for debate.Overall…”. Practise accurate complex sentences and proofread agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries.
