Student answer (Band 5.5)
Toady a huge number of people trying to dress according to the globel fashion trends. Social media play an essential role in this trend. People want to dress themselves according to the trend, they see on different social media platforms. this has both negative and positive development, but in my prospective, it has more adverse development.
At first, global fashion has become a strong influence on individuals life. Social media is responsible for this, due to the reason that social media apps like instagram, tiktok, and snapchat, allow trends from fashion capitals like Paris or Milan to reach global audience instantly. Celebrity, influencers or musicians (suvh as K-pop groups) and online creators set a clothing trends that the puplic is trynig to copy them. Moreover, companies like Zara or H&M rapidly manufacture and ship low-cost copies of runway and influensor's look, putting these cloths to reach to average people.
On the other hand, these trends are making huge problems for middle-class and poor people, because they can't afford it. It als has a major role in climate change of environmental industuries. Those, who want to dress themselves according to the present fashion but they have not money to buy, so it beacome the cause of depression and a lot of people waste their savings in this way. Some time fashion trend cross its limit and a wierd type of fashion take place.
In my conclusion, we have a time to control those industries, who are responsible for the manufacturing of these wierd fashions.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both parts of the question: you identify social media, celebrities and fast-fashion retailers as reasons global trends spread, and you state that the development is more negative. The examples of Instagram, TikTok, K-pop, Zara and H&M make the explanation relevant. However, the negative effects are only partly developed: affordability, depression and environmental harm are mentioned, but the environmental point is unclear and the claims are not supported with a specific example. The conclusion focuses on controlling industries and “weird fashions” rather than clearly restating your overall judgement and the main reasons for it. Develop each key idea with a clearer explanation or example, and keep the position consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, body paragraphs and conclusion, and the first body paragraph follows a sensible cause-and-effect sequence from social media exposure to copying trends and fast-fashion production. Linking phrases such as “Moreover” and “On the other hand” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression is uneven: the second body paragraph moves quickly between affordability, environmental effects, depression and unusual styles without showing how these points connect. Some references are also unclear, particularly “it” and “Those, who want to dress themselves.” The conclusion introduces a new focus rather than drawing together the argument. Organise the negative effects into a clearer sequence and use more precise links and references.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “global fashion trends,” “fashion capitals,” “influencers,” “manufacture,” and “climate change,” so the reader can follow the main subject. There are also attempts at more specific phrasing, such as “low-cost copies of runway” looks. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are frequent enough to distract, for example “globel,” “puplic,” “cloths,” and “wierd.” Some combinations are also unnatural or unclear, such as “a clothing trends” and “environmental industuries.” Aim for accurate forms and natural collocations, and choose precise terms for the effects you mean. Proofreading spelling and checking whether nouns are singular or plural would make your vocabulary more effective.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a relative clause in “trends … that the public is trying to copy” and a reason clause beginning “because.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors often make sentences difficult to follow. For example, “a huge number of people trying” lacks a finite verb, while “Social media play” has a subject–verb agreement problem. The sentence beginning “Those, who want…” is incomplete and does not connect its clauses successfully. Articles, plurals and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “a clothing trends” and the lowercase “this” after a full stop. Practise building complete sentences with clear subjects and verbs, then check agreement and punctuation.
