Student answer (Band 5.5)
Global fashion is the highlight worldwide. Now a days, many people dress up them selves according the the lastest global fashion trend. Modern world has influenced the life of people very passionately. From my perspective, this fashion trend has some positive out growth on individual life and, this essay will highlight some reasons in the favor of the statement.
One of the main reason global fashion has been widespread is social media. Every person have a mobile phone in hand, we are up to dated with whatever happening world wide. Growing influential has positive results as people upgrade their wardrobe frequently. It's positive development is that, the clothes they have, they gave them to people in need to make their cupboards spacious. In addtion, this trick is given by many to of the influencers they following, and it also have a positive development.
On the other hand, there are also some drawbacks as people who can not afford expensive trending articles feel pity of not having much of the resources to fulfill their wished or to dress up like their ideal model. This feeeling make them able to hate people or to target them in a negative way which is wrong. Another crutial factor is that some people do crime stoling expensive items so that they can sell them and gather the money they need to follow the specific trend.
In conclusion, every trends have it's positive and negative affect on society. It is up to us how we carry certain situation wether it suits us or not. Overall, there are more development in favour, as influential or the content creator figures guiding people about the merits and the demerits of what they were doing.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: social media is identified as a driver of global fashion, and you present an overall positive view while acknowledging disadvantages. The examples about donating clothes and people feeling pressured to buy expensive items are relevant. However, the explanation of how fashion becomes influential is narrow, focusing almost entirely on mobile phones and influencers, and several points are unclear or insufficiently supported. For example, the link between updating wardrobes and donating clothes is asserted rather than explained, while the claim that fashion pressure leads people to hate or target others needs a clearer example. Your conclusion also weakens your position by saying trends have both effects without clearly weighing them. Develop the causes and make your final judgement more consistent and explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph on social media, a paragraph on disadvantages, and a conclusion. The contrast marker “On the other hand” helps signal the shift to drawbacks, and the main ideas are generally grouped by topic. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because connections between claims are not made explicit. In the first body paragraph, the move from frequent wardrobe updates to giving clothes away and then to influencers is abrupt. Some linking phrases, such as “In addition” and “Overall,” do not fully clarify how the ideas relate. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, as in “the clothes they have, they gave them.” Use clearer topic sentences and explain each link between cause, example, and consequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to fashion and social influence, including “global fashion trend,” “social media,” “influencers,” “expensive trending articles,” and “ideal model.” There are also attempts to express more abstract ideas, such as “positive development” and “merits and the demerits.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “positive out growth,” “Growing influential,” “feel pity,” and “specific trend.” Spelling errors such as “lastest,” “addtion,” “feeeling,” and “crutial” are noticeable. Build a more precise vocabulary for causes and effects, and check spelling and natural word combinations; for instance, use “increasing influence” rather than “Growing influential.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional-style idea in “It is up to us how we carry certain situation” and a relative clause in “influencers they following.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction frequently affect clarity. Examples include “Every person have,” “they gave them to people in need” where the tense does not fit, and “every trends have it’s positive and negative affect.” The opening also contains a faulty construction: “dress up them selves according the the…” Punctuation and sentence boundaries need attention, particularly the comma before “this essay will highlight.” Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add complex clauses while checking agreement and verb tense.
