Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions: you suggest that designers, celebrities and social media spread fashion, and you state that the development is positive because it encourages creativity and creates income. You also acknowledge a drawback, explaining that young people may pressure families to spend on fashionable clothes. However, the explanation of how global trends became influential is not fully developed, and the positive position is less consistent than the conclusion suggests: the paragraph beginning “On the one hand” mainly discusses affordability and copying rather than clearly evaluating the benefits. The claim that clothing industries provide “70%” of money is unsupported and unclear. To strengthen the response, explain the mechanisms of global influence more precisely and support each main point with a relevant, credible example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has an introduction, separate body paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. You also attempt signposting with “On the one hand” and “on the contrary.” However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the paragraph about designers moves from celebrity clothing to ordinary people copying outfits and then to national economic growth without clearly connecting these points. Some linking phrases are inaccurate or mechanical, and the contrast between the two body paragraphs is not consistently clear. References such as “these outfit” and “those people” also make it harder to identify exactly what is being discussed. Organise each paragraph around one central claim, then explain and illustrate it in a clear sequence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “global,” “creative designers,” “social media,” “conservative” and “economy,” and you try to express ideas about influence, affordability and business. However, the range is limited and many word choices, forms and spellings are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “worldwide cloths,” “quality full outfit,” “maknig copydress” and “fashinable dresses.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “fashion concerns” and “huge amount of dress.” Build a more reliable set of topic phrases and check spelling and word forms carefully. Prefer precise expressions such as “international fashion trends,” “affordable clothing” and “influence consumer choices” over improvised combinations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “although” and “so that.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors occur frequently enough to make several sentences difficult to follow. For example, “numerous individuals preferred by worldwide cloths” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “fashions works like virus day by day its increases” joins clauses incorrectly and has problems with agreement. There are also recurring issues with articles, plurals and verb forms, as in “many celebrities has” and “it making huge money.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation are often unclear, particularly where several ideas are joined together. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking subject–verb agreement and punctuation.
