Student answer (Band 6.0)
In the revolutionized country individuals are rely on global fashion trends, which play a great influence on both economically and culturally. However, i believe that it has both positive and negative benefits but some cases negative development outweigh the positive development.
On the one hand, the first and foremost benefits from global fashion is that, it extensively increases economic growth by providing employment opportunies in fashion industry, which creates million on jobs in clothing production , designing as well as marketing. As a result it will be tremendously helpful for the people to maintain their financial stability. Furthermore it also play a indispensable role to increase nations revenue through international trade. Another predominant advantage is that global fashion allows people to learn about other cultures and tradions more vigorously through their clothing styles. For example, in Bangladesh some sophisticated Korean shops have been introduced ,where we can learn about their traditional wear also introduced with wetern style.
On the other hand, although global fashion world tremendously benefical to broden our horizons , however it has some drawbacks , which creates detrimental impact on our nation. As we can see that, nowadays individuals are more modernized by following celebities , who were wear western outfits. The horrendous sides are that it plays a detrimental role on our domestic culture. For example, buying western outfits ,our traditional handicrafts shops have been reduced day by day. As a result , it badly impacts on not only tradition but also local handicraft shops. However it also decreases job opportunities in local market as well some domestic shops because people are more likely to accustome with exotic culture.
In colclusion, global fashion trends nowadays plays vital role on people fashion styles as well as facilates economically, but i firmly believe that for long term security we should protect our own culture by maintaining a strike blance between both of them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions: you explain the influence through employment, international trade, exposure to other cultures and celebrity-led clothing choices, then give a qualified view that the drawbacks can outweigh the benefits. The examples of Korean shops in Bangladesh and declining demand for local handicrafts help make the discussion relevant. However, the first question—how global fashion became so influential—is only partly explained: the response describes its effects more than the mechanisms behind its reach, such as social media, advertising or international brands. Your position is also somewhat difficult to pin down: the opening says there are both positive and negative effects, while the conclusion stresses protecting local culture without clearly restating which side outweighs the other. Develop these points more explicitly and consistently.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for benefits and drawbacks, and a conclusion. The progression within each body paragraph is generally understandable, and examples follow the claims they illustrate. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent arrangement and shows some stronger control through paragraphing and linking. However, connectors are sometimes mechanical or contradictory: “On the other hand” is followed by “although … however,” and “As a result” is repeated to introduce similar consequences. Some references are also unclear, particularly “it” in the opening and “both of them” in the conclusion. Use fewer, more precise transitions and make each paragraph’s central point and references explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range for the topic and attempt less common expressions, including “international trade,” “financial stability,” “detrimental impact” and “domestic culture.” These choices help communicate the economic and cultural dimensions of fashion. However, several attempts are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “play a great influence,” “million on jobs,” “horrendous sides” and “strike blance.” Spelling and word-form errors, including “opportunies,” “tradions” and “facilates,” also reduce precision. Some wording is repeated, especially “detrimental” and “As a result.” Aim for accurate collocations and check spelling carefully; a smaller number of natural, precise expressions will be more effective than ambitious but awkward phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “which,” “although” and “because,” and the main ideas are generally understandable. Some sentences are controlled, such as the explanation that fashion creates jobs in production, design and marketing. However, errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction remain noticeable. For example, “individuals are rely” combines incompatible verb forms, “global fashion … play” has subject–verb disagreement, and “who were wear” uses an incorrect verb pattern. The sentence beginning “although global fashion world … however” also has faulty construction. Work on forming complete clauses, matching subjects and verbs, and using one appropriate contrast structure at a time; this will make your complex sentences clearer and more reliable.
