Student answer (Band 5.0)
The many of us in this world are influenced by the fashion industry and dressed according to the latest trends. It could be both either negative or positive impacts on individual but in my oppinion it does not make any sense which may leads toward negative outcomes.
At present, most of the people are deeply influenced by the attire and getup of their favorite characters. It can be the celebrities, Influencers, their teachers or any person which make them inspire in their fashion sense. For instance, people especially females who watch dramas on TV or follow their favorite actresses are suddenly hook by the closet which they are wearing consequently people become curious about them and spend money on finding such clothes.
Furthermore, the dressing sense of the people is getting change day by day. If we take example from the 90's fashion trend, the people at that time were more into oversized clothes. They choosed different dresses but more simple and elegant sometimes. Now, people get jealous by the other's fashion and there is a lot of competition in this case.
Moreover, the dressing sense can be vary culture to culture so most of the designers follow different regions. The dresses must be more comfortable and easy to wear. One should not take a full advice from the fashion industry and redo it because sometimes most of the dresses does not fit on everyone. Your individually won't be hurt if you simply like something that is in trend.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both questions to some extent: you mention influences such as celebrities and social-media figures, and you express concern about fashion’s effects. However, the position is difficult to identify. The opening says the impact could be “both either negative or positive,” then suggests it “does not make any sense” and may lead to negative outcomes, without clearly stating whether you consider the development positive or negative. Your explanation of influence is relevant, especially the example of viewers wanting actresses’ clothes, but the discussion of changing styles and jealousy does not fully explain how global trends spread or why they have become so powerful. The final paragraph offers advice rather than developing your overall judgement. The response is also one word below the required minimum. State a clear view and support it with more specific explanation and examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
Your response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction followed by separate paragraphs on celebrity influence, changing styles, and cultural differences. Connectors such as “Furthermore” and “Moreover” help signal additions, and the example about television dramas gives one paragraph a clear focus. However, the overall progression is limited: the paragraphs introduce related points but do not build a sustained argument answering both questions. Some links between ideas are unclear, as in the move from 1990s clothing to people becoming jealous and competitive. The final paragraph shifts to advice without a clear concluding summary of your position. Referencing is also occasionally vague, for example “them” and “it” do not always make the intended subject clear. Organise the body around causes and then your evaluation, and use a conclusion to bring the argument together.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “fashion industry,” “latest trends,” “attire,” “celebrities,” “designers,” and “comfortable.” This shows an ability to discuss clothing and its social influence, and phrases such as “spend money” communicate a relevant consequence. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear: “hook by the closet,” “redo it,” and “your individually won’t be hurt” do not express the intended ideas precisely. There is also repetition of “dressing sense” and “fashion,” while some expressions, such as “getup,” are informal for this essay. Aim for more precise phrases such as “influenced by an outfit,” “copy a trend,” and “personal identity,” and check spelling and word forms such as “opinion” and “chose.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “If we take example from the 90’s fashion trend” and a sentence explaining how viewers respond to actresses’ clothing. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “It could be both either negative or positive impacts,” “which may leads,” and “the dressing sense can be vary,” where sentence structure and verb forms are faulty. Agreement and tense are also inconsistent in “They choosed different dresses” and “most of the dresses does not fit.” Articles and plural forms need attention as well, as in “take example” and “the other's fashion.” Practise building accurate complex sentences, checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms, and proofreading each sentence for a complete, clear structure.
