Student answer (Band 5.0)

Today's people totally inflluenced by globally made fation trends, However, it is consider by majority of people that international fation bacame the stongest encouragement on people's lives. Nevertheless, as per my opinion it has more advantages than disadvantages in the growth of country.

As per the first statement described that globally fation trends made higher encouragement on the people's lives it has counted advantages such as it shows development of our country in woldwide. For instance, the show which is globally organised, in that india is also taking part in that woldwide fation show as it shows countryside in other way. As a result it is globally recognised the otherside of country. Another, positive side is that morden culture from wastern country is adopted. it shows great development of people that they catching things or trends from global fations. For example, the trendy clothes except traditional from morden culture it grab attention woldwide for development of country and it's people.

In the contrast, there are number of disagreement on that statement, by adopting morden culture and trends we have lost our traditions and retuals due to that it empact on our society and generations. For example, due to contamporary society's trends we lost our nation's gratitude and respecting traditional clothes and hence, we lost our culture and civilization.

To sum up, nowadays people totally relied on morden trends and fations due to that extinct our traditional lifestyle. So we should more resistant to morden culture and globally followed trends.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You give a position—global fashion has more advantages—and include a counterpoint about the loss of traditions. However, the task asks both how global fashion became influential and whether this is positive or negative. Most of the response discusses possible effects, while the reasons for its influence are not explained clearly; references to fashion shows and adopting Western culture do not show what has made these trends so powerful. Your examples about India and traditional clothing are relevant but remain general and are not developed enough to support the claims. The conclusion also shifts towards opposing modern trends, which makes your overall view less consistent. The response is one word below the required minimum, and the ideas need fuller development as well as a clearer answer to both questions.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting views, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the broad direction of your argument. You also use signposts such as “For instance,” “In the contrast,” and “To sum up.” However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the link between fashion shows, international recognition, and people’s lives is not fully explained. Some transitions are inaccurate or mechanical, and “Another” does not clearly connect the next point to the previous one. The conclusion introduces a stronger rejection of modern trends than the introduction’s positive position. Make each paragraph develop one clear point, use more precise referencing, and ensure the conclusion reflects the same position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “global fashion trends,” “traditional clothes,” “contemporary society,” and “culture and civilization.” These choices show an effort to discuss both international influence and cultural change. However, the range is limited and several repeated or inaccurate expressions make parts difficult to understand, such as “higher encouragement,” “the otherside of country,” and “it grab attention worldwide for development.” Spelling errors—including “fation,” “woldwide,” and “contamporary”—also reduce clarity. Aim for precise collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, describe fashion as “influential” rather than an “encouragement,” and explain specific channels such as social media or advertising. This would make your ideas easier to follow and more convincing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a cause-and-effect structure with “As a result” and a contrast introduced by “Nevertheless.” However, many sentences contain errors in sentence construction, verb forms, articles, or agreement, and these sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “Today's people totally influenced” lacks a correctly formed verb, while “it is consider by majority of people” has problems with passive form and article use. The sentence beginning “As per the first statement described…” is also incomplete or awkwardly constructed. Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent, particularly after full stops. Practise building clear subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking each sentence for a complete main clause and accurate verb form.
