Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today's rapidly changing world every aspect of human life have been evolving significantly. In these days most of the individuals dressing is greatly impacted by world's fashion trends. This essay will discuss these trends that how global fashion influenced human's life and from my prospective it is not really a positive change.Firstly we discuss the affect of celebrities on these fashion trends. Today most of the fashion trends are set by the famous people who had a great fan following and the the individuals are in a race to follow these styles watching their favourite personality. For instance if a trend of any costume is started by shahrukh khan who is one of the great bollywood actor, so his fans become crazy to buy that cloth because of their love for him. Moreover people follow these trends which became famous world wide to become famous by making reels and uploading them of different social media plateforms to gain public attention. Eventually global trends of fashion became more famous when they gain attention of individuals. Now most of the people follows them to look attractive and to be noticed by their loved one.Actually in my opinion its a negative change because due to this most of the people forgot their tradition and culture , they used to wear western dress on their special event which greatly impact their culture.Later on in future their traditions will be at the risk of obsolete and their decendents will never came to know their orignal legacy. Concluding that we came to know that we should follow of ancestors tradition to save it from vanishing.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the prompt: you explain the influence of celebrities and social media, and you clearly judge global fashion as a negative development because it may weaken cultural traditions. The Shah Rukh Khan example makes the celebrity point more concrete. However, some ideas are less fully developed than others. The explanation of social media focuses on people seeking attention through reels, but does not show in detail how this makes trends spread globally or shape everyday choices. The cultural concern is relevant, though the prediction that descendants will not know their heritage would benefit from a specific example or explanation. Develop each main point with a clear cause-and-effect link and supporting detail.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an identifiable sequence: an introduction, discussion of celebrities and social media, a negative view, and a conclusion. This gives it some overall organisation. However, the progression is difficult to follow because most of the response is presented as one continuous paragraph, and several ideas run together. Connectors such as “Firstly,” “Moreover,” “Eventually,” and “Concluding” are used, but the links between points are sometimes mechanical or unclear; for example, the move from social-media attention to the claim that people follow trends to look attractive needs a clearer explanation. Use separate paragraphs for the introduction, reasons for fashion’s influence, your evaluation, and conclusion, and make each transition express the relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “fashion trends,” “fan following,” “social media platforms,” “tradition and culture,” and “legacy.” These choices make your main meaning understandable, and you attempt more specific expressions such as “at the risk of obsolete.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, including “the affect of celebrities,” “buy that cloth,” and “gain public attention.” Spelling errors such as “plateforms,” “decendents,” and “orignal” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more natural phrasing and check spelling carefully; precise expressions will help you explain how trends spread and what cultural effects they may have.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “if a trend … is started” and a reason introduced by “because.” The overall meaning can generally be followed, but some errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction remain. For example, “every aspect … have been evolving” should use a singular verb, while “most of the people follows” needs plural agreement. The sentence beginning “For instance if…” is also difficult to control and would be clearer if divided into shorter clauses. Punctuation is inconsistent, particularly around sentence boundaries. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and building complex sentences with a clear main clause.
