Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent years people are not reluctant to adopt global fashion trends. People are now spending on dresses linked to current global fashion. Such shift occurs becasue of social media and rise in people financial capabilities which i believe is a positive development because it not only allow people to move out of the jar and adopt new things in life but also it gives a feeling of confidence and inner satisfaction.
In comtemporay era social media is consumed in almost all part of the world which resultantly sits trends and influence people way of living and dressing sense. Resultantly, global fabrics owner invest huge some of money on social media advertisement as well as take services of influencial actors and celebrities to influence general masses. Which resultantly force their fans to follow that fashion streams. Similarly, the financial status of the people rose across the world and in the major countries. such shifts increased the per capita income and people now have greater amount at their disposal to spend on luxures. which gives a massive boost to the adoptation of global fashion.
In my perspective, such influence is a positive sign because it allow people to change their orthodox mentality and giving them a chance to try new thing and align themself with the world. Not only this it gives a pyschological sense of happiness and confidence to the consumer. As per Kathi Martin satement a renowed pyschologist his research publish in DAWN, emphasized that wearing clean, updated and fashionable cloths gives much more confidence than those in ordinary wearings.
To sum up, the global fashion becomes so influencial because of social media and positive shifts in people living standards, which is definently a positive sign.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both parts of the prompt: you explain the influence of social media, celebrity advertising and rising incomes, and you clearly support the view that global fashion is positive. The examples about fans following celebrities and fashion increasing confidence are relevant. This gives the response a clear, on-task foundation. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For instance, the claim that fashion helps people “move out of the jar” and change “orthodox mentality” is not clarified, and the psychologist reference is presented without explaining how the research supports the wider argument. To strengthen the response, develop each main reason with a clearer cause-and-effect explanation and a specific, credible example. The position is clear, but the support is not consistently extended.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph explaining causes, a paragraph giving your opinion, and a conclusion. The ideas generally progress from how trends spread to why you consider them beneficial. Linking expressions such as “Similarly,” “Not only this,” and “To sum up” help signal relationships between points. At times, however, cohesion feels mechanical or unclear. “Resultantly” is repeated, and the sentence beginning “Which resultantly force their fans” is a fragment whose connection to the previous sentence is not smoothly managed. Some references, such as “such shifts,” could also be more precise. Use a wider range of natural links and ensure each paragraph develops one clearly connected line of reasoning.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt vocabulary suited to the topic, including “global fashion trends,” “per capita income,” “orthodox mentality,” and “psychological sense of happiness and confidence.” These choices show some ambition and help communicate the main ideas. However, inaccurate spelling, word forms and collocations are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less clear: “comtemporay,” “influencial,” “adoptation,” “fashion streams,” and “global fabrics owner” are examples. Phrases such as “move out of the jar” and “ordinary wearings” are also unnatural in this context. Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than more elaborate wording. Proofreading spelling and checking collocations would make your vocabulary more precise and fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a contrastive structure in “not only … but also” and clauses explaining why social media affects fashion. However, control is uneven, and errors occur often enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “Such shift occurs” needs an article, while “which i believe … because it not only allow” has problems with capitalization and subject–verb agreement. “Which resultantly force their fans” is an incomplete sentence, and “the financial status of the people rose” shifts tense awkwardly in a general explanation. Work on complete sentence boundaries, agreement, articles and consistent present-tense forms. Building accurate shorter sentences before adding subordinate clauses will improve clarity.
