Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
You have successfully addressed all three bullet points in the prompt. You clearly explained the key arrangements (taxi service), provided specific instructions for the train station, and suggested evening activities. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a family member. However, the response is slightly lacking in detail regarding the 'keys' aspect of the prompt; you mentioned allocating a room but did not explicitly state how the relative will gain entry to the house (e.g., leaving a key with a neighbor or a lockbox). Despite this minor omission, the task is fulfilled effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The letter follows a logical structure with clear paragraphing. Ideas are sequenced well, moving from the arrival arrangements to the evening plans. You use some cohesive devices like 'Although', 'Since', and 'Moreover' to link your thoughts. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and the paragraphing could be more refined to separate the logistical instructions from the social suggestions. The referencing is generally clear, though the flow between the taxi details and the evening plans could be smoother to improve the overall readability.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for this task, such as 'allocated', 'leisure activities', and 'reference'. There are some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'various of leisure activities zones' (should be 'various leisure activity zones') and 'discuss on what we should go' (should be 'discuss what we should do'). While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precise usage. The vocabulary is sufficient to convey your message clearly, but it lacks the flexibility and sophistication required for a higher band score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, including punctuation issues (e.g., 'Dead Krunal ,' and 'i m back to home') and capitalization errors (e.g., 'City', 'Colour'). Additionally, there are minor syntactic errors like 'i have already allocated a room for you for every essential items' (should be 'with all essential items'). While these errors are frequent, they do not cause difficulty for the reader. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and consistent punctuation.
