IELTS Writing Task 1 question

A family member is coming to stay with you. He/she will be arriving by train in the morning, but you won’t be home until the evening.

• explain arrangements you have made for them to have keys and get into the house

• tell your relative how to get from the train station to your house

• say when you will be home and suggest what you could do together that evening

Dear Pardeep,

I hope you are doing well,

I am writing this letter to apolozise that I will not be able to pick up you from the station in morning time as I have my exam on this day.

I feel very bad that you are coming my house to meet with me at I will not be there but I bring my house key to my neighbour friend. She is my best friend in my colony. You can also stay at her house for relaxation purpose.

My neighbourhood friend's Sumita will also come to pick you from the station and drop my house. If you want to come by yourself you will take the key from her.

When I will reach at home, I will make a food by my own self which you usually like from your childhood time. When we also go cinema to watch latest movie Satluj as I know daljeet is your favourite actress.

I hope you understand my situation and support me.
