A family member is coming to stay with you. He/she will be arriving by train in the morning, but you won’t be home until the evening.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

Dear Shalav,

I hope you are doing well.

I am writing to inform you about the arrangement I have made for your arrival on Monday morning. I am very excited to see you. But, as its a Monday I will be working from the office so I won't be able to see you until evening.

As for getting into the house. I have made few arrangements for you. I have left the keys in the fornt office of the building so when you arrive in the building in the afternoon you just have to ask for the keys from them by providing the security personnel the room number 305 and mentioning my name. And, they will permit you the access to my apartment.

You are visiting me for the first time in Toronto. So, when you get off at the Union station you kwill have to board the local TTC train which goes northbound to Vaughn and get off at the cedervale station. It will be the 6th station from the Union station and would take roughly 15 minutes to reach. Once You arrive at the Cedervale station you will have to board 97C but which goes northbound and stop at the northern blvd and you will see the white building right outside when you get off the bus.

I will try my best to be with until 4pm in the evening but as its a Monday I cannot commit and might even get late a bit. But, I have planned a movie night today and in addition, I will cook your favriouten Indian food which we can have while watching the movie together.
