Dear Sarah
I hope this letter finds you well . I am writing this letter to you express my excitement that you are visiting morning . Regretfully I have to inform you that I could not come to pick at station as have to leave for work early . However I booked uber for you . You can see uber driver with your name at the east exit of station . It I’ll be easy and convenient for you to reach at my house .
Once you reached at house you can find main door keys under the brown carpet just beside the black flower vase. Moreover ,the first right room at upstairs , I prepared for you . You can relax and fresh there . Also enjoy nice weather at backyard and feel free to serve anything for yourself from kitchen .
Catch you at dinner , can’t wait to see you . Hope to spent quality time with you
Love,
Priya

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: explaining the key arrangements, providing directions from the station, and suggesting evening plans. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a family member. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, the directions provided are quite vague; simply mentioning an 'Uber driver' and the 'east exit' lacks the specific detail expected in a task of this nature. To improve, ensure that your explanations are fully developed and provide enough practical information to be truly helpful to the recipient.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your points. You use some cohesive devices like 'However,' 'Moreover,' and 'Also' to link ideas. However, the flow is occasionally interrupted by awkward phrasing and missing articles, such as 'reach at my house' or 'once you reached at house.' The transition between the arrival instructions and the house access instructions is functional, but the overall progression could be smoother with more varied linking words and better control over sentence structure.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your message, using words like 'convenient,' 'regretfully,' and 'excitement.' However, there are several instances of unnatural word choice and collocation errors, such as 'fresh there' (instead of 'freshen up') and 'serve anything for yourself' (instead of 'help yourself'). These errors do not impede communication, but they do highlight a need for more precise vocabulary usage. Expanding your knowledge of common collocations would significantly improve your lexical score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Common issues include missing articles ('at station,' 'at house'), incorrect verb forms ('Hope to spent'), and preposition errors ('reach at my house'). While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your meaning, they occur frequently enough to impact the overall fluency of the writing. Focusing on basic subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles would help you achieve a higher band score.
