IELTS Writing Task 1 question

A family member is coming to stay with you. He/she will be arriving by train in the morning, but you won’t be home until the evening.

Student answer (Band 7.0)

Dear Mohit,

I hope that you are well. I am very glad to hear that you are coming to stay with me so I am writing to let you know about the arrangements which I made for you to entre in the house.

As you know that I usually finish my work late in the evening so I requested my neighbor to keep the key of my house. When you arrive at home, you have to go to other house which number is 321. He will give you the key so that you can entre in the house.

I recommend you to book a taxi from the train station to get home because it is very convenient and saves your time. If I compare the transportation price, the Taxi is cheaper than other mode of transportation.

I expect to be home before 7 p.m. Firstly, we would take some amount of time to relax, and then we could go outside to have dinner together. Moreover, we could explore the streets and downtown area. Once, we arrive back home, we can play your favorite video game if you are not too exhausted.

I am excited to see you soon and have a safe journey.
