Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address the main situation and include arrangements for the keys, travel from the station, and an evening together. Naming Arshdeep as the neighbour who can provide access is useful, and the taxi and dinner plans are relevant. However, some details are incomplete or unclear: you do not explain exactly how your relative should contact or find the neighbour, and “I will book a taxi” does not say whether it will be waiting at the station or how the visitor will identify it. The route is therefore only partly explained. You also say you will return in the evening but give no approximate time. Develop these practical details so the recipient can follow the arrangements confidently.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: it moves from the apology and key arrangements to transport, then to plans for the evening and a closing. Paragraph breaks help distinguish these topics, and connectors such as “Moreover” and “Apart from this” signal additions. Some linking is mechanical or unclear, however. For example, “Moreover” introduces the taxi arrangement without a particularly strong contrast or progression, while “when we will enjoy a lot after coming at home” makes the transition to evening plans difficult to follow. The opening and closing are recognisable, but the ideas within paragraphs could be connected more smoothly. Use direct sequencing and clearer references, such as explaining the key handover before giving the station-to-house instructions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the basic arrangements, including “neighbour,” “railway station,” “taxi,” “projector,” and “dinner.” There are also attempts at friendly, personal language, which suits a letter to a relative. However, the range is limited and several spelling or word-choice errors make the message less natural, such as “inconvient,” “essily,” “favouite,” and “look forword.” Some phrases are awkward or imprecise, including “get our house” and “we all family are going.” Choose more accurate everyday expressions and check spelling carefully. More precise transport vocabulary, such as “pick you up,” “taxi rank,” or “directions,” would help make the arrangements clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple sentences and longer clauses, for example, “I can get keys from my neighbour who is living next door to us,” and “just send me the message when you will arrive on train station.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, sentence construction, articles, and punctuation sometimes make the meaning harder to follow. Examples include “hope you are doing good.am writing,” “you will reached,” and “when we will enjoy a lot.” The sentence about the family going out also has an unclear subject and verb structure. Practise forming complete sentences, using consistent future forms, and separating sentences with appropriate capital letters and punctuation. These changes would make your arrangements easier to understand.
