Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the main situation and include arrangements for entry, a person to meet Aman, your expected return time, and evening plans. The key is said to be “in box on right side,” and you explain that a friend will meet him at the station. However, the task asks how your relative can get from the station to your house; identifying the friend is not enough without explaining how to recognise or contact him and what happens next. The evening plan is relevant, but “go to restaurant” and “go to mall” are only briefly stated. Clarify the route or pickup arrangement and develop the plans with practical details so each part of the task is fully covered.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The letter has a recognisable opening, body, and closing, and the information is grouped into broadly relevant sections: arrival and food, the station pickup, and evening plans. This gives the reader some overall organisation. However, progression is uneven: the sentence “When you will reach at house” interrupts the explanation of the food and key arrangements, and the transition from the friend’s description to your return time is abrupt. Some links, such as “Therefore,” do not clearly express the relationship between the meeting and your absence. Use clearer sequencing—arrival, entry, travel, then evening—and connect each detail explicitly. This would make the message easier to follow without relying on separate short statements.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough everyday vocabulary to communicate the general message, including “key,” “station,” “meeting,” “restaurant,” and “activities.” The description “tall and thin” and the clothing details are also relevant to identifying the friend. However, the range is limited and several choices or spellings are inaccurate or informal for a letter: “awesome,” “shoot you a message,” “perperred,” and “tht.” Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “do some activities,” which does not tell the reader what you have in mind. Choose more precise expressions and check spelling; for example, specify the food you have prepared or the activity you plan to do together. This will make the message clearer and more natural.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

Most sentences use simple patterns, and the reader can generally understand the intended arrangements. There are attempts to connect ideas, such as “I have told to my friend who will pick you from station,” but errors are frequent and sometimes make the message difficult to interpret. Examples include “When you will reach at house,” “The key of door have kept,” “He wear,” and “I will back at 10pm.” Articles, verb forms, agreement, and sentence construction need more reliable control. Practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check tense and agreement: for example, “The key is in a box” and “I will be back at 10 p.m.” A wider range of accurate sentence patterns would also help.
