Hey Cristi,

How are you? I hope you are doing well, It has been long since we have last met I am eager to meet you soon.

As you know I mostly work during night shifts but recently my working times has been changed by my new manager and right now since last month I am working in the morning shifts for that reason I would not be at home until the evening.

But you do not have to worry about that I have made some arrangements so you can enter the house, once you reach to my home go to next house number 4580 which is my friends house her wife will be at home during that time she will provide you keys to my home.

I know you will be visiting this city for the first time so do not leave station on your own I have booked a cab for you that will be waiting for you at the train station. The driver will call you once the train is at the station any ways we are going to dine out in the eveing at hotel GBT palace.

Yours Truely.

Abby.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The letter covers all three required points: you explain that your friend’s wife at number 4580 will give Cristi the keys, arrange a cab from the station, and say you will be home in the evening with a plan to dine together. These details make the message relevant and generally clear. However, some arrangements are not fully explained: “go to next house number 4580” does not clearly identify how to find the house or what Cristi should do after receiving the keys. The evening plan is also brief, and the letter does not give an approximate time you will be home. Develop these details and make the instructions more precise to address every part more fully.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The information follows a broadly sensible order: you explain your work schedule, describe the key arrangement, give transport information, and finish with the evening plan. This makes the letter understandable overall. However, most of the content is presented in long, crowded sentences, with little paragraphing to separate the different arrangements. For example, the key instructions and the cab details run together, and the final sentence shifts quickly from the driver’s call to dinner. Some linking is also mechanical, such as “for that reason” and “any ways.” Use separate paragraphs for the schedule and keys, travel directions, and evening plans, and connect ideas with clearer, more natural transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a suitable range of everyday language for a friendly personal letter, including “night shifts,” “train station,” “booked a cab,” and “dine out.” These expressions communicate the main arrangements. However, several word choices and collocations are awkward or imprecise, such as “reach to my home,” “leave station on your own,” and “working in the morning shifts.” There are also spelling and form errors, including “eveing” and “Truely,” which reduce accuracy. Aim for more natural phrasing and check spelling carefully; for example, say “get to my house,” “leave the station by yourself,” and “working morning shifts.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

The letter includes both simple statements and attempts at longer, more complex sentences, such as the explanation of your changed work schedule. The intended meaning is generally clear, but some grammatical errors affect accuracy. For example, “my working times has been changed” has subject–verb agreement and passive-form problems; “since we have last met” uses an incorrect tense pattern; and “once you reach to my home” has an unnecessary preposition. Several sentences also join independent ideas without appropriate punctuation, particularly the opening and the long sentence about your schedule. Use shorter sentences where needed, and check agreement, tense, articles, and sentence boundaries.
