Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You cover all three required points: Mr Patel has the spare keys, you give directions from the station, and you describe plans for the evening. The practical details—such as the neighbour living next door and the journey taking about 15 minutes—make the arrangements useful. The evening plans are also personal, with favourite food and a drive, although the route and activities could be explained more clearly. The response is therefore relevant and complete, but some details are less fully developed than others. To strengthen it further, clarify exactly how your relative should identify the house and state explicitly that you will be home in the evening.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The message follows a sensible overall order: access to the house, travel from the station, and plans for the evening. Separate paragraphs help the reader recognise these stages, and transitions such as “Although” and “Also” attempt to connect the information. However, some links are awkward or unclear, and the long first paragraph combines several instructions without clear sentence boundaries. For example, the key arrangement and the instruction to make yourself comfortable run together. Use shorter sentences and clearer sequencing phrases such as “First,” “From the station,” and “When I get home” to make the progression smoother and the references easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the situation, including “spare keys,” “railway station,” “society,” and “meaningful time together.” These choices communicate the main arrangements, but the range and control are limited, and several spelling and word-choice errors make the message less natural. Examples include “neccessarly,” “Althoght,” “favrioute,” and “excat”; “go to anand road nagapalika murti” is also difficult to interpret as a destination. Choose standard spellings and more precise travel language, such as naming the road and landmark clearly. A few natural collocations, for example “pick you up” and “make yourself comfortable,” would also improve fluency.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including instructions and future plans, but control is uneven. Errors in sentence structure and verb forms are noticeable in phrases such as “your coming to home,” “I already done,” and “we are go to for Long drive.” Several ideas are joined into long strings, making the relationships between clauses difficult to follow. Aim for complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check tense and agreement—for example, “I have already given the spare key” and “we will go for a long drive.” More accurate sentence boundaries and a few correctly formed complex sentences would make the message easier to read.
