Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You cover the main points by explaining that a friend will provide the keys, arranging a taxi from the station, and suggesting a restaurant visit. However, the arrangements are not fully clear: you do not explain where your friend will meet your relative or how they can identify them, and the taxi details do not give the house address or journey instructions. You also do not state when you expect to be home, which is an important part of the task. The evening plan is relevant but only briefly described. To strengthen the response, give precise, practical details for entering the house and travelling there, then clearly say what time you will return and develop the shared plan.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The message follows a generally understandable order: you introduce the situation, describe the key and taxi arrangements, and finish with an evening suggestion. Linking expressions such as “Firstly,” “Moreover,” and “Furthermore” help signal these stages. However, the sequence within the arrangements is sometimes difficult to follow, particularly in “I my confirmed my friend who will came at home,” where the reader cannot readily understand exactly what has been arranged. The ideas are also presented in one main block, so the different parts of the message are not clearly separated. Use short paragraphs for the key arrangements, travel directions, and evening plan, and make references such as “he” and “which” unambiguous.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the basic arrangements, including “keys,” “taxi,” “train station,” and “restaurant.” There are also attempts at more specific language, such as giving a taxi number and gate. However, noticeable spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision: “witing,” “sataion,” and “membories” are difficult to read, while “I listen you are coming” and “taxi is stand” are unnatural expressions. Some phrases are also vague, such as “do some arrangements.” Build accuracy with common collocations for travel and hosting, and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would make the practical information easier for your relative to understand.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the message is usually understandable. However, control is inconsistent, especially in longer sentences. Examples include “I am very happy when I listen you are coming my home,” “who will came at home,” and “will makes some membories”; these show problems with verb forms and sentence construction. There are also errors in articles, prepositions, and sentence boundaries, as in “at the train station” being needed instead of “on the train sataion,” and the opening “Dear Sir/ Madam” is not punctuated naturally for a personal letter. Aim first for accurate, complete sentences, then connect them with simple clauses. Proofreading verb forms and prepositions would improve clarity.
