Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the three requested points: you explain that the keys are with a neighbour, give a transport suggestion, and say you will return in the evening and go clubbing together. The evening plan is the most developed part, with details about the party and live music. However, the directions from the station are unclear: “search for a bike” does not explain where to find one or how to reach your house. The key arrangement also needs clearer practical details, such as the neighbour’s name or which house to visit. Some ideas, including the reason for the visit, are difficult to understand. Make each arrangement specific and ensure the reader can follow it without guessing.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response follows a broadly sensible order, moving from the keys to travel and then to your evening plans. This helps the reader identify the main topics. However, the whole letter is presented as one continuous paragraph, and the ideas within it are often joined in a long chain, particularly in the final section about the party and the relative’s holiday. Connectors such as “firstly,” “after,” and “because” are used, but some links are awkward or do not make the relationship between ideas clear. Use separate paragraphs for the three arrangements and break longer sentences into clearer units. This would make the progression easier to follow and reduce the impression of ideas being added one after another.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “neighbour,” “train station,” “live music,” and “holiday,” and the reader can generally identify your intended plans. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or spellings make parts difficult to understand. For example, “conjustade” appears to mean “congested,” while “increase down your stress” does not express the intended idea naturally. Phrases such as “influence with live music” and “soft and hard drinks” are also unclear or unsuitable in context. Aim for precise, natural expressions for directions and leisure plans, and check spelling and collocations before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to connect ideas using clauses with “because,” “when,” and “after,” but the sentence structures are often faulty, and errors can make the message difficult to follow. Examples include “keys are given to neighbour house,” “when i haved gived them keys,” and “there is very big party has organized.” These show problems with articles, verb forms, and sentence construction. There is also inconsistent control of tense, as in “you have came” and “you have took.” Most sentences are long and joined together, so punctuation does not clearly separate the ideas. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking verb forms and articles in each sentence.
