Student answer (Band 5.5)
Recycling process is one of best methods of saving the nature. Many countries recycle their garbage and use that new product as a useful human needs. While in many countries, people still do not recycle thier rubbish and let just the waste increase. We will be discussing on this viewpoint in the upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with, I don't have any particular reason that why do some people does not recycle the waste. But according to me, it can be possible that the government of particular nation will be having any other alternative rather than recycling. Thus, they does not encourage their people for recycling the waste. One of the another reason could be that they could have been dumping their waste by grinding in the smallest pieces and dugging them into a plain surface far away from civilization. In addition to that, one more reason could be that instead of throwing the recycle waste, people might recycle it at home and reuse it again.
Despite this many reasons, to change this the leaders should bring new initiatives which encourage public to start recycle their rubbish. For example, giving up discounts on their monthly electricity bills according to the waste they recycle. Or in contrast, every individual will get a food coupon with some percent off at different franchise. Although, new agency or organization should be created which motivates and explains the benefits of recycling and how does it plays role by not harming the nature.
To conclude with, it can be personal reasons of the public for not recycling their garbage but ofcourse, governement should bring up some ideas to let people recycle their rubbbish.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you suggest possible reasons for low recycling and propose incentives and public education. The examples of electricity-bill discounts and food coupons make the proposed solutions more concrete. However, the reasons are often speculative or unclear. For instance, the suggestion that governments may have “any other alternative rather than recycling” is not explained, and home recycling does not clearly explain why people fail to recycle. Your opening also promises a discussion without establishing a clear, direct position. Develop a few plausible causes—such as inconvenience, limited facilities, or lack of awareness—and explain how each affects behaviour. Then connect each solution to a specific cause so the response answers both parts more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on reasons, a paragraph on solutions, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “In addition to that,” and “To conclude” help signal these stages. However, progression within the ideas is sometimes difficult to follow. The reasons paragraph moves from government alternatives to burial of waste and then household reuse, without clearly showing how these points relate to the question. Some linking is also mechanical, particularly the repeated use of “one more reason” and “Although.” Improve cohesion by grouping related causes, using clearer references, and explaining the connection between each point rather than relying mainly on transition phrases.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “recycling,” “rubbish,” “waste,” “initiatives,” and “benefits,” so the main subject is generally clear. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations sound unnatural, which sometimes makes the meaning harder to follow. Examples include “saving the nature,” “use that new product as a useful human needs,” and “giving up discounts.” Spelling errors such as “thier,” “governement,” and “rubbbish” also reduce accuracy. Aim to learn common topic collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions such as “protecting the environment,” “recycled materials,” and “offer discounts” would make your ideas clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “While,” “Although,” and “which.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in agreement, question structure, articles, and verb forms occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to read. For example, “why do some people does not recycle” has incorrect word order and agreement, while “they does not encourage” also has a subject–verb agreement error. “How does it plays role” combines an incorrect auxiliary pattern with a missing article. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. Check that subjects and verbs agree and that questions embedded in statements use statement word order.
