Rubbish is not recycled as much it can be in many countries by many people. This is happening not only because lack of knowledge but also lack of recycling equipment. To reduce this problem government can spread awareness about eco friendly things and how sustainability works as well as invest in recycling process.

People are not aware about how recycling works and which things can be recycled or not. Which leads to not taking recycling things seriously. Government also not promote to recycle things like providing different garbage bins for recyclable things.

To tackle this problem, government can spread awareness about environment and how much time a thing take to recycle. Educating people how it will affect in next 10 years.

In conclusion, not recycling things happen because of lack of knowledge and not thinking about environment. It can be handled by making people aware about it and providing facilities to avoid it

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 153 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you address both parts of the prompt—reasons for low recycling rates and potential solutions—the ideas are presented in a very superficial manner. For instance, you mention 'lack of knowledge' and 'lack of equipment' as reasons, but these points are not supported with specific examples or detailed explanations. To improve, you must expand your arguments by providing concrete scenarios or deeper analysis to meet the length requirement and demonstrate a more thorough engagement with the task.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into short paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the progression of ideas is somewhat repetitive, particularly in the second and third paragraphs where the focus on 'awareness' is restated without adding new depth. Cohesive devices are used, but they are quite basic (e.g., 'To tackle this problem', 'In conclusion'). The transitions between sentences are sometimes abrupt, and the lack of complex linking words makes the flow feel mechanical. To achieve a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of cohesive devices to connect your ideas more fluidly.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on simple, repetitive phrasing such as 'lack of knowledge', 'recycling things', and 'spread awareness'. There are also some minor inaccuracies in word choice, such as 'recycling process' instead of 'recycling infrastructure' or 'facilities'. To improve, try to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary related to environmental issues, such as 'waste management', 'sustainability initiatives', 'public education campaigns', or 'infrastructure investment', rather than repeating basic terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex sentences, but there are frequent grammatical errors. For example, 'Government also not promote to recycle' is missing an auxiliary verb and correct verb form. There are also issues with article usage ('the government', 'the environment') and subject-verb agreement. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to affect the clarity of your writing. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structures, ensuring correct verb tenses, and practicing the use of articles before nouns.
