Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this modern era, people are busy in their life but they ignore the moral value of there life, they do not reuse the products which is harmful for our environment. In my opinion, my earth is our first home and we need to clean it and save it for upcoming generation and take a few steps such as recycle plastic bottles, stop using plastic papers and also follow the three bin rules and use them.
First of all, in many countries government do not encourage people to follow reuse policy, For example, if a person can buy a cold drink bottle, he/she needs to be throw in recycle bin or wash it with warm water and use it for fill water and use as a school and water bottle. Resulting into the usage of plastic will be decrease. Secondly, government needs to makes rules against usage of plastic bags. The shopkeeper use only paper bags and if people need to use bags for grocery they will be use cotton bag and recycle them again and again.
Not only this but also If i take example of Asian countries, they throw rubbish in the public places and it is effected the tourist industry. Because tourists always loves to visit need and clean places. Moving further, in name of religion, people put milk in the river but it is harmful for sea animal and also the water quality is effected. People needs to be educated about it.
To conclude, government needs to take step out about usage of rubbish and recycle things its will be beneficial for economy growth and environment. Also home rubbish recycling will be use as a organic agriculture products for farming.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for low recycling rates and potential solutions. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the suggestion to 'follow the three bin rules' is mentioned but not explained, and the discussion on religious practices in the third paragraph feels tangential to the core issue of recycling. While the position is clear, the arguments lack depth and specific, well-integrated examples. To improve, you should focus on expanding your main points with more logical explanation rather than listing multiple disparate ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'Not only this but also If i take example of...' and 'Moving further, in name of religion...'. These transitions do not always create a smooth flow between ideas. Furthermore, the referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult to track the subject of certain sentences. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will help create a more professional and logical progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'ignore the moral value of there life' (should be 'their') and 'Resulting into the usage of plastic will be decrease'. The repetition of basic words like 'use' and 'rubbish' limits the impact of your arguments. To achieve a higher score, focus on using more sophisticated collocations and topic-specific vocabulary related to environmental sustainability and government policy.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'government needs to makes rules'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'they will be use cotton bag'), and punctuation errors. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of these errors prevents the text from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement and tense consistency would significantly improve your score.
