Student answer (Band 6.0)
Recycling material is very significant process in taking advantage of belongings. However, in many nations, few individuals are recycling their waste less as compared to the amount it should be done. This essay with discuss my opinion why this trend is going on and possible solutions need to be taken to tackle this.
To begin with, one major reason behind less recycling of waste is that individuals have lack of time. This is because they are very busy in their lives. For example, in canada every single person is working to fulfil their needs and they do not have even enough time to give their bodies and mind rest. Due to tirdeness their brain can not think of doing any other activities. Therefore, masses do not concentrate on recycling their rubbish, instead, they throw it and purchase new from market to save their precious time. Moreover, other important factor is lack of knowledge. For instance, younger generation do not have experience or information on how to utilize their waste or spare items in other ways. Thus, they end up donating their belongings to poor communities.
Furthermore, several measures can be taken to change this trend. Firstly, conducting awareness campaigns by government could lead to provide right information to folks. For example, if government shows individuals how to recycle their torn clothes by using stitching machine, they can reuse their clothes to wear again rather than throwing them away. Secondly, putting bins to collect rubbish like organics, or plastic, so that government can use organics to grow advantageous bacterias in fields and plastic to reutilize again such as bottles and cans.
To conclude, although less recycling is enormous issue and creates several problems, this trend can be diverted by using public awareness method and introducing bins to collect recycling materials.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for low recycling rates and potential solutions. The ideas are relevant, such as time constraints and lack of knowledge, and the solutions provided, like government campaigns and infrastructure, are logical. However, the development is somewhat superficial. For example, the argument that people throw things away to 'save time' is a bit underdeveloped, and the suggestion of 'donating to poor communities' as a result of lack of knowledge is slightly illogical. To reach a higher band, you should provide more nuanced explanations and ensure your examples directly support your main points with greater depth and clarity.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. There is a logical progression of ideas from the introduction to the body paragraphs and the conclusion. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'To conclude' to signal the structure. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the flow between sentences could be smoother. For instance, the transition between the lack of time and the lack of knowledge in the second paragraph is abrupt. Improving the variety and sophistication of your linking words would enhance the overall cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'recycling', 'rubbish', 'organics', and 'awareness campaigns'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'significant process in taking advantage of belongings', 'masses do not concentrate', and 'advantageous bacterias'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of your writing. To improve, focus on learning collocations and using more natural, academic phrasing rather than literal translations or slightly unnatural word combinations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include missing articles ('in canada', 'by government'), subject-verb agreement issues ('other important factor is'), and awkward phrasing ('recycling their waste less as compared to the amount it should be done'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are minor errors in sentence construction. To achieve a higher score, you need to increase the frequency of error-free complex sentences and pay closer attention to basic grammar rules, particularly articles and pluralization.
