Climate changes are one of the major threats of future generations. Recycling and managing litter in a appropriate way can slow down the process of soil pollution. However, in some nations people failed to recycle the garbage. I believe it is due to negligence of people and combined efforts of both the individuals and people can alter this situation.
People do not recycle their rubbish as much as they could because of their lack of awareness regarding this matter and their irresponsible behaviours. Many people do not posse knowledge about recycling options of various products. They also lack the ability to shop for the products that are biodegradable or can recycled. As a result of that they purchase the items without thinking about it recycling potential. Moreover, some people are just ignorant because they need to follow complicated and lengthy processes. As an example, they need to separate their domestic goods in to different categories in order to recycle them.
To combat this issues the government and people should take necessary actions to promote recycling. The government should launch rubbish management schema, which emphasise on domestic waste collection, separation and recycling. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for low recycling rates and potential solutions. The position is clear throughout. The ideas are relevant, such as the lack of awareness and the complexity of sorting waste. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the suggestion for government intervention is clear, but the explanation of how these schemes function could be more detailed to reach a higher band. The response covers all requirements of the task, but the depth of analysis remains at a functional level rather than a fully extended one.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. There is a progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'However', 'Moreover', and 'In addition to that', though some transitions feel slightly mechanical. Referencing is generally clear, although there are minor issues with pronoun usage and sentence flow. The paragraphing is appropriate, and the overall structure helps the reader follow the argument without difficulty. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words to connect sentences more fluidly.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task. You use some topic-specific terms like 'biodegradable', 'municipal', and 'rubbish management'. However, there are several errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'posse knowledge' (possess), 'rubbish management schema' (scheme), and 'clean India moment' (mission). These errors do not impede communication, but they indicate a lack of precision. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more sophisticated vocabulary and ensuring that words are used in their correct collocations, rather than relying on simpler, sometimes inaccurate, phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('Climate changes are', 'this issues'), article misuse ('the government should penalised'), and spelling errors ('ruleos', 'moment'). Punctuation is generally functional, but the frequency of these minor errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, particularly verb forms and pluralization, as these errors occur consistently throughout the text.
