Recycling plays a significant role to safe the environment. It reduces the wastage on the planet and makes the planet more safer to live. People in some countries do not try to recycle their garbage as they generated so much garbage on daily basis. People have different perspective about recycling.

Firstly, people think that recycling takes a lot of time which leads to wastage of time. Individuals thinks that it takes time to separate that garbage which has a capacity to recycle. There is need to separate that things which does not used again. For example, in Punjab Times newspaper, it reported that 60% people do not recycle the rubbish because they think that-it is the wastage of time. Secondly, individual feel uncomfortable and feel shamed when they do recycling. They think that what the society generally think about them. However, there are many changes which the people can done to change this perspective. We need to built a team which discuss the benefits of recycling to the public because public is unaware about that. For example, in my neighbourhood, there is a team named Ekta who run different camps about recycling awareness. Moreover, government also encourage people to do recycling by giving them rewards. For instance, we give them incentives and other financial benefits if they help to safe the environment. Therefore, disposal of garbage and recycling of it promoted.

In conclusion, different countries have different perspective about garbage recycling. We need to work together to promote the idea of recycling with team work and co-ordination which makes the environment more friendly and safer.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for low recycling rates and potential solutions. The ideas are relevant, such as the perception of time wastage and social stigma. However, the development is somewhat limited. For instance, the point about social stigma is anecdotal and could be expanded with more general societal analysis. The solutions provided, such as awareness campaigns and financial incentives, are clear but remain somewhat superficial. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more detailed explanations and perhaps explore the systemic or infrastructural barriers to recycling rather than focusing primarily on individual attitudes.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central topic. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', 'However', and 'In conclusion', which help the reader follow the progression of ideas. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'There is need to separate that things which does not used again'. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly in the second paragraph where the connection between the brother's anecdote and the broader societal issue could be smoother. Overall, the logical flow is sufficient to maintain a coherent argument throughout the text.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express ideas clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'incentives', 'financial benefits', and 'awareness'. However, there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'safe the environment' (save), 'more safer' (safer), and 'feel hesitate' (feel hesitant). Some phrasing is repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'garbage' and 'recycling'. To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and avoiding basic grammatical errors that affect word forms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('Individuals thinks', 'he do recycling'), incorrect verb forms ('does not used again', 'people can done'), and article misuse. These errors are noticeable and occur consistently, though they do not prevent the reader from understanding the main points. To achieve a higher score, you need to demonstrate better control over basic grammar, particularly verb tenses and subject-verb agreement, and attempt more complex structures with greater accuracy.
