In many countries, public do not recycle their trash as must they should do.
One of the major reason is that people have money and they know if one thing is damaged we can replace it by new.
because it seems to them is easy.
another important reason is that everyone is busy while doin work or studies, so they dont have enough time for fixing the things or equipment. they dont even call repairmen to or can go their shop for getting repair. they just replace it with new.
For instance, in my country everyone is busy and if their refrigerator damaged or tv is not working properly. they dont call service man. they bought new things.
another important reason is now people are materialistic. people does not care for each other as they do for materials.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for low recycling rates and potential solutions. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments regarding materialism and time constraints are mentioned but not fully explored or supported with sufficient depth. The solutions provided, such as 'consul them' and 'spread the awareness', are somewhat vague and lack concrete detail. The essay tends to over-generalize, and the connection between 'repairing' and 'recycling' is occasionally blurred, as the student uses these terms interchangeably, which impacts the clarity of the response. To improve, you should expand on your points with more specific examples and ensure your solutions directly address the problems identified.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks a clear structure. Paragraphing is inconsistent, with many very short, fragmented sentences that disrupt the flow of ideas. While there are some attempts at cohesive devices like 'For instance' and 'In addition', their usage is often mechanical or inaccurate. The progression of ideas is difficult to follow because the sentences are often disconnected, and the lack of proper transitions between the problem and solution sections makes the essay feel like a list of points rather than a cohesive argument. Improving the use of linking words and organizing your thoughts into clear, well-developed paragraphs would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is basic and repetitive, which limits the ability to convey complex ideas. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'consul them' (likely meaning 'counsel' or 'advise') and 'spread the awareness'. The student relies on simple, everyday language, and there is little attempt to use less common or more precise vocabulary. Some phrases are awkward, such as 'turn into use it again'. To reach a higher band, you should focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary related to environmental issues and sustainability, and practice using these words in context to improve precision and variety.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The grammatical range is limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences. There are frequent errors in sentence structure, subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'people does not care'), and article usage. Punctuation is also problematic, with many sentences ending abruptly or being incorrectly joined. Complex structures are rarely attempted, and when they are, they often contain errors that impede clarity. For example, 'if their refrigerator damaged or tv is not working properly' lacks a verb and proper structure. Focusing on basic sentence construction, ensuring subjects and verbs agree, and learning how to correctly combine clauses would help improve your grammatical accuracy.
