One important reason of people not to prefer recycle the waste as much as they can is that, people have a lack of knowledge about how the benefits of throwing rubbish seperatly make a big difference toward environment, however the government needs to introduce awareness among the society, as a result people adopt to throw the waste in a separate bin instead of send everything to garbage. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response is significantly under the 250-word minimum requirement, which severely limits your ability to develop your ideas. While you identify a reason (lack of knowledge) and a solution (government awareness campaigns), the development is very brief and lacks the depth required for a higher band. You have addressed both parts of the prompt, but the lack of length means the response is underdeveloped and fails to provide a comprehensive discussion. To improve, you must expand on your points with specific examples, personal experiences, or logical consequences to meet the word count and demonstrate a fuller understanding of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into an introduction and one body paragraph, but the structure is underdeveloped. You use some cohesive devices like 'however' and 'as a result', but their usage is sometimes awkward or grammatically incorrect, such as 'however the government needs to introduce...'. The progression of ideas is logical, but the brevity of the text makes it difficult to assess your ability to manage paragraphing or complex cohesive links effectively. To improve, ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and that you use a wider variety of linking words to connect your ideas more fluidly.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for basic communication but lacks the range and precision expected at higher levels. You use some relevant terms like 'recycling', 'rubbish', and 'environment', but there are errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'ignorance of recycling option' (should be 'ignorance of recycling options') and 'send the waste items' (should be 'dispose of waste'). There are also spelling errors like 'seperatly' and 'recyable'. To improve, focus on learning collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary to express your ideas more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'people not prefer to send' (should be 'people do not prefer to send'), 'lack of knowledge about how the benefits... make a big difference' (awkward phrasing), and 'adopt to throw' (should be 'adopt the habit of throwing'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement, correct verb forms, and sentence structure. Practicing the construction of error-free complex sentences will help you move to a higher band.
