Student answer (Band 6.0)
In many nations, civillions are not tend to recycle their trash as much as they could. There are plethora of reasons behind this trend.
The predominant reason behind this is lack of public awareness. For instance, in many countries, people throw their garbage anywhere and they do not follow the rules and regulations for cleanliness. Apart from public awareness, government is also primarily responsible for this act. However, they don't provide enough resources as well as tools and materials to sort and segrigate this garbage. Consequently, all the trash pile up and even public can't do anything for that. Lastly, in many countries, public are lethargic to keep their surroundings clean and organized. Eventually, they find it hard to put their trash in recycler bins and garbage cans.
There are several possible solutions to resolve this issue. Firstly, public must follow the cleaning and recycling rules in every country apparently, it is favorable for their health and well being as the unprocessed waste can attract many insects. Secondly, authorities, should provide sufficient resources and services to recycle trash as the recycled trash can be beneficial to produce new plastic products , craft and decor items. For example, many companies manufacture water bottles as well as storage containers form recycled trash. Lastly, government should spread public awareness regarding how recycled garbage can contribute into safe and pollution free environment.
To summarize, there are many unfilled gaps that needs to be identify by government to keep the environment safe and keep recycle process running. Moreover, civillions are also as responsible as authority to recycle trash.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for low recycling rates and potential solutions. The ideas are relevant, such as the lack of public awareness and the need for government-provided infrastructure. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the point about people being 'lethargic' is a generalization that lacks depth. While the response covers all requirements, the arguments could be more thoroughly extended with more specific examples or nuanced analysis to reach a higher band. The position is clear throughout, and the conclusion effectively summarizes the main points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the progression of ideas. Cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', 'Consequently', and 'To summarize' are used to link sentences and paragraphs. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly repetitive. Additionally, there are minor issues with referencing and flow, such as the transition between the government's role and the public's attitude. Despite these minor flaws, the overall arrangement of information is logical and easy to follow, meeting the requirements for a band 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey their meaning clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'predominant', 'segrigate' (spelled incorrectly as 'segrigate'), and 'lethargic'. However, there are noticeable errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'civillions' instead of 'citizens' or 'civilians', and 'form' instead of 'from'. These errors do not significantly impede communication, but they do limit the precision of the writing. To improve, the student should focus on accurate spelling and more natural collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'public are lethargic', 'gaps that needs to be identify') and article usage. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some run-on sentences and missing commas. While the writer attempts complex structures, the frequency of errors is noticeable. The errors rarely impede communication, but they do demonstrate a lack of control over more complex grammatical forms, which is characteristic of a band 5.5 or 6.0 level.
