Student answer (Band 6.5)
In many nations, individuals do not reuse their daily junk, which ever the part they could. It seems to me that this issue is happening due to the laziness between the people and most of them are not aware on larger scale about the recycle system, however this problem can be tackled by implementing strict rules for trashing reusable things separately as well as by making them more aware about the recycle system.
In this competitive era, everyone is having a busting life with a lot of work and recycling of some rubbish is ignored by them, therefore in hurry they are using same bin for all the wasting material, be it plastic, bottles, papers or any food leftovers. Besides it, a very large portion of public is not aware about the recyclable things, and the ways, which they can reuse most of the items. For instance, workers in many houses are not well educated and they do not have any knowledge about the recycling process and the role of this specific thing to protect the environment.
However, there are numerous ways which can help to solve this problem. To begin with, government can play a crucial role by introducing new rules in the society. All the trash bins should be separate for recycling products, garbage items and food products. Also there should be some fines for society members, who are not following the law. Last but not the least, government or other local environment protection agencies should arrange some camps or speeches to make people aware about the recyclable items and the effect this will put to protect the environment.
To conclude, although unawareness and hectic life are the main causes of recycling waste but it can be solved by arranging environment related programs in the societies and introducing strict rules for trashing things properly.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
You have addressed both parts of the prompt: the reasons for low recycling rates and potential solutions. Your position is clear throughout the essay. The ideas are relevant, such as the mention of 'busting life' (busy lifestyles) and the lack of awareness. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the point about 'workers in many houses' is slightly vague and could have been expanded with more specific examples or clearer explanations of how this impacts recycling habits. To reach a higher band, ensure that each supporting point is fully explored with more depth and clarity.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Besides it', and 'To conclude' to link your ideas. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or awkward, such as 'which ever the part they could' in the introduction, which is unclear. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally imprecise, which makes the flow feel a bit disjointed in places. Improving the variety and naturalness of your linking words will help the essay read more smoothly.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey your ideas, using terms like 'competitive era', 'recyclable items', and 'environment protection agencies'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'reuse their daily junk', 'trashing reusable things', and 'wasting material'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of your writing. To improve, focus on learning common collocations (e.g., 'household waste' instead of 'daily junk') and using more precise terminology to describe environmental concepts.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While your meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'laziness between the people' (should be 'among'), 'aware on larger scale' (should be 'on a larger scale'), and 'the role of this specific thing' (vague). There are also issues with article usage and preposition choice throughout the text. While these errors rarely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles would significantly improve your accuracy.
