Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, citizens do not recycle their wastage in some countries as much as they could. People do not do so, due to a lack of awareness and encouragement from the authorities, However these issues can bring in attention to public and government to take necessary steps.
On the one hand, one of the primary problems is that individuals are not aware of recycling. This is because, people are busy in their hectic work life and do not have enough time to take initiative on recycling. Additionally, people are not able to have sufficient awareness of its benefits. For example, young adults change their mobile device very frequently, but they do not recycle their old devices and keep them at home. It has not only detrimental effects on the environment but also hazardous to the health of human and animals.
On the Other hand, these issues can be addressed by raising awareness and necessary steps by the Government. The Authorities should initiate necessary campaigns to share the benefits of recycling and its consequences of failing to recycle. Furthermore, the companies who are responsible for their products, they can foster their customers to recycle by giving them rewards and offers. To illustrate, the company should give discounts on their new products by submit their old products, so that people can be encouraged themselves to submit their rubbish.
To conclude, individuals do not repurpose their wastage, because they are not much aware about this process, although it can be addressed by conducting awareness sessions by respective organizations. I believe that, it is the responsibility of every citizen and the government to carefully understand the recycling benefits to save the global environment and the species.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary suitable for the task, incorporating terms such as 'detrimental effects', 'hazardous', and 'respective organizations'.
