Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, nature is going through a lot of hardships which making it unbeareable for ordinary people and one of them is improper waste mangement, in some countries, people spread garbage here and there without caring about nature due to the lack of information and resources as well, Which can only manages by making people aware and providing resources.
To begin with, generally some nations have improper waste mangement as people do not think to keep their sorroundings clean, there are not an awareness about it, it usually happens in third world countries where public still is not having a good education systen which can explain children in the beginning years of their life that what are the pros and cons of spreading garbage that how it can riun the environment, humans and other species. Moreover, their goernments are also responsible that they do not provide resources, like recycling plants, or seperate dusbins on a particular distance and, in public areas. For instance, India generates 65 million tonnes of garbage every year from slums, open massive landfills and so on.
However, this problem only can be sorted by speading awareness among the people even educational facilities should not only make young generation aware by organising campaigns although these campaigns should be held in slum and rural areas which lacks information. In addition, authorities must operate recycling plants on large scale and they should provide resources like seperate garbage bins in open areas, it also managed by providing janitors who would be responsible for changing garbage bags on time and sending garbage to recyling and landfills as according to their type.
In conclusion, theis peoblem only occurs by lacking information and resources, which can be manages by giving people right education and providing complete resources to manage their rubbish.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, explaining why people do not recycle sufficiently due to a lack of awareness and resources, and suggesting solutions such as educational campaigns and infrastructural improvements like recycling plants and separate bins. Ideas are extended with a relevant example regarding India generating massive amounts of garbage. However, the development tends to be somewhat repetitive, particularly in the conclusion which restates the main points without adding fresh perspective. Furthermore, the position is somewhat blurred by overly broad generalizations about third-world countries and education systems. While all parts are addressed, the depth of explanation keeps the response within the Band 6 level.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with clear attempts at paragraphing and introduction of main ideas using transitional phrases like 'To begin with', 'However', and 'In conclusion'. Nevertheless, cohesion is frequently faulty and mechanical. The opening sentence is a massive, run-on comma splice ('Nowadays, nature is going through a lot of hardships which making it unbeareable...'). Referencing is also weak in places, such as 'Which can only manages by...' where the relative pronoun lacks a clear antecedent clause, and 'it also managed by providing janitors'. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal logical flow within sentences is often obscured by poor punctuation and run-on structures.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully incorporating topic-specific terms such as 'improper waste management', 'landfills', 'recycling plants', and 'campaigns'. However, there are numerous spelling and word-choice errors that permeate the text, such as 'unbeareable', 'mangement', 'sorroundings', 'systen', 'riun', 'goernments', 'seperate', 'speading', 'lacks' (instead of 'lack'), and 'peoblem'. These lexical inaccuracies and persistent spelling mistakes reflect a Band 5 level, as they occasionally cause friction for the reader.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The writing exhibits a very limited control of grammar and sentence structure. The text relies heavily on lengthy, poorly punctuated run-on sentences joined by commas and conjunctions, such as the opening sentence and the long compound sentence starting with 'Moreover, their goernments are also responsible...'. There are severe verb-form and agreement errors throughout, including 'which making it', 'public still is not having', 'education systen which can explain children... that how it can riun', and 'rural areas which lacks'. Complex structures are attempted frequently, but they are almost invariably faulty, leading to frequent errors that impede smooth communication.
