Student answer (Band 5.0)

In many countries, people do not recyly their rubbish as much as they could , becouse in our world all counries are not same as an education level, ecnomic level, and also social awearness. waistage management is a expencive job for governments , some countries are very poor so thay cannot be empliment waistage recycling program.

comperison to develped countries many countries have lots of problems like food, unemloyment, develpment , education and health.

But some governments providing recycling plants but thare peoples are in responsibsle for this. they did not think about our envirement they dont want to do more effords to manage the rubbish.

I think education is most powerfull tool for knowing to people about recycling the wastage, if they had propper knowledge about adwantage of recycling they could be starting recycle the rubbish.

Local athourties shuld be make macheenery to do recycling esye like a make accesseble spot to collect all garbage in one place and after that send to recycling plsnts. Now we can make lot of products from waistages like we make bio commposte for agriculture ,mostly rubbish came from houses are vegitables and food waistage that is very usefull for agriculture use.

I think if we give better apocounity to peoples about this , they will be encrease there countreebute to recycle rubbish.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions: you suggest that poverty, education and social awareness affect recycling, and propose education and accessible collection points. The example of turning food waste into compost is relevant and helps explain a practical benefit. However, several ideas remain brief or unclear, such as the claim that governments cannot establish programmes because they are poor; this needs a clearer explanation or an example. The response also does not meet the required minimum of 250 words, so there is limited space to develop the causes and solutions. To strengthen the response, explain how each proposed measure would change people’s behaviour and support your points with specific examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

There is some organisation: the response moves from causes to possible solutions, and the compost example follows the suggestion to recycle household waste. However, the progression is not consistently clear. The opening combines several causes in one long sentence, while the separate statement about problems such as food and unemployment is not clearly linked to the comparison with developed countries. Connections between ideas are also sometimes abrupt, particularly the shift from government recycling plants to individual responsibility. Use clear paragraphs for causes and solutions, and connect each point with a brief explanation. More precise referencing would also help readers understand phrases such as “this” and “they.”

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “social awareness,” “recycling plants,” “local authorities” and “compost,” and these choices show an effort to discuss environmental policy. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are frequent, including “recyly,” “waistage,” “responsibsle” and “apocounity.” Some expressions are also unclear or unnatural, such as “make machinery to do recycling easy” and “increase their contribute.” These problems can make the reader work to understand your meaning. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations as complete phrases, for example, “make recycling easier” and “increase people’s participation.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You communicate some ideas through simple sentences and attempt longer structures, such as “if they had proper knowledge … they could be starting recycle the rubbish.” However, complex sentences are often not controlled, and frequent errors in verb forms, sentence construction and punctuation sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “Local authorities should be make” needs a correctly formed verb after “should,” while “they did not think” shifts tense without a clear reason. Several sentences also run together or lack clear boundaries. Practise forming accurate sentences with “if” clauses and modal verbs, and check subject–verb agreement, articles and punctuation before submitting.
