Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this modern era, people are using every product and its packaging only once then they throw it. It has been a going issue for today' world. There are many reasons why this is becoming popular and I will discuss some solutions to overcome the peoblem in the paragraphs.
First of all, it is not easy for people to recyle their rubbish at home because of multipal reasons. One of them is lack of resources, as we know that the recycling process is only posssible when we have enough sources to do it, therefore a common man is merely not capable of doing this process his own. Apart from that, these kind of process is required alot of leisure time and enough funds to complete the activity, therefore it is not practical for ordinary person to recyle their rubbish at home. One more thing, people are not interested to involve in these kind of activities, they find it worthless and boring so that it is not their matter of interest.
There are some solutions to handle the situation, firstly government should educate the public to participate in recycling percess. By doing this, they will know their sense of responsibility, it will encourage them to recycle their rubbish their own without any permission. Not only this but providing people enough resources free of cost which are required to recyle the trush is equally important because they can not afford their own because lack of financial resources.
In conclusion, people should understand their responsibility and participate in recycyling process because it has become demand of time. Government also take it seriously and provide resources to public and take strict actions for those who are not following the rule and regulation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both parts of the question: you suggest that recycling is difficult because of limited resources, time and money, and that some people see it as uninteresting or pointless. You also propose public education, free provision of recycling resources and enforcement. These are relevant ideas, but several are asserted rather than explained. For example, the claim that recycling at home requires “enough funds” is not clarified, and the response does not explain what resources people lack or how education would change their behaviour. The conclusion repeats the proposed actions without adding support. To strengthen the response, develop each main reason with a clear explanation or a specific example, and make the link between each solution and the problem explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on solutions and a conclusion. The reader can follow the main progression, and signposts such as “First of all,” “Apart from that” and “In conclusion” help identify the stages of the argument. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some movement towards more flexible cohesion. However, linking is sometimes mechanical, with repeated “therefore” and “not only this,” and some connections between ideas are unclear. For instance, the relationship between lack of resources and the claim that recycling is not practical at home could be explained more directly. Use fewer formulaic transitions and connect each sentence through clear cause-and-effect reasoning.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “recycling process,” “resources,” “financial resources” and “sense of responsibility,” so the main message is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which makes some phrases difficult to interpret. “Enough sources” appears to mean “resources,” while “recycle the trush” and “recycling percess” contain spelling errors. Phrases such as “a going issue” and “demand of time” are also unnatural. Aim for more precise topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations carefully. Replacing repeated general terms with accurate expressions such as “collection facilities” or “household recycling bins” would make the discussion clearer and more specific.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a conditional structure in “when we have enough sources.” However, control is uneven, and errors in agreement, articles and sentence construction occur often enough to affect clarity. For example, “these kind of process is required” has problems with number and agreement, while “for ordinary person” needs an article. The sentence beginning “Not only this but providing people…” is not grammatically complete, and “Government also take it seriously” has an agreement error. Practise building accurate sentences around one main clause, then add subordinate clauses. Check subject–verb agreement, singular and plural forms, and articles during proofreading.
