Task 2

In this modern era, recycling of products become necessary, and it is considered as a most valuable part of sustainable development. However, in many countries, folks still don't recycle their rubbish as much as they could. There are enormous reasons behind it. This essay will discuss the various reasons and suggest possible solutions to change this concept.

Firstly, in most of the under developed and developing country, people are not fully aware of the benefits of recycling and its positive impact on the environment. For example, In India, half of the country’s population is illiterate. So it is hard to make them understand, what plastic can do if we don't dispose it properly, particularly the people living in the rural areas. Moreover, there are lack of modern technologies and resources. Also, a lot of investment is required for installing machinery , which is the major reason that these countries are still struggling in managing the plastic wastes properly.

However, with the implementation of the major steps from the government and the environment specialist, this situation can be changed. For example, government should introduce policies which support recycling packaging. Also, subsidies should be provided to those companies which promotes recycling on larger scale. Also, environment specialists should organize educational campaign to educate people and introduce them to these techniques. So that they can recycle their rubber rather then throwing them away.

To conclude, Despite recycling is still not done on high pace in most of the country, but if corrective actions are taken by government bodies and other agencies this concept will gain popularity almost everywhere.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both parts of the question: you identify limited awareness and inadequate recycling infrastructure as reasons, then suggest government policies, subsidies and educational campaigns. The India example gives one cause some context, and your position—that coordinated action could improve recycling—is clear. However, the explanation of infrastructure focuses mainly on investment and machinery, without showing how practical barriers affect households. The proposed measures are also listed more than developed: for instance, explain what a recycling policy would require or how a campaign could change everyday behaviour. The reference to “rubber” is unclear in context, and the conclusion largely repeats the proposed solution rather than drawing the reasons and measures together. More specific explanation and examples would make the response more fully developed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on solutions and a conclusion. This makes the main progression easy to follow. You also use signposting such as “Firstly,” “Moreover,” and “However” to connect sections. At times, though, cohesion feels mechanical or repetitive: “Also” appears several times in the solutions paragraph, and “So that” begins a fragment rather than linking a complete sentence. Some references are not fully clear, particularly “this concept” in the introduction and conclusion. To improve, vary linking methods, connect each solution explicitly to a cause, and use clearer references so readers can follow how each point relates to the previous one.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “sustainable development,” “positive impact,” “subsidies,” and “educational campaign.” These choices help communicate the subject, and attempts at more formal language are evident. Some less common expressions are not used naturally or precisely: “recycling packaging” is unclear, “recycle their rubber” does not fit the discussion of rubbish, and “on high pace” is an awkward phrase. There are also word-form and collocation issues, such as “environment specialist” where a plural or possessive form is needed, and “plastic wastes.” These do not prevent the reader from understanding the main ideas, but more accurate collocations and precise terms for materials and recycling systems would strengthen the writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “which” and “if,” and the overall meaning is generally clear. However, some errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction remain. For example, “recycling of products become necessary” needs subject–verb agreement and an appropriate article, while “there are lack of modern technologies” has an agreement error. “So that they can recycle…” is a dependent clause presented as a sentence, and “Despite recycling is still not done…, but…” combines structures incorrectly. Review sentence boundaries and practise forming complex sentences accurately, especially with contrast and result clauses. Greater control of these patterns would make the response smoother and more precise.
