Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You identify a relevant cause—limited awareness—and suggest education camps and better recycling facilities, so the response is connected to both questions. However, the task is addressed only partially: the causes and solutions are stated briefly, with little explanation of how they affect recycling or how the proposed measures would work. The example beginning “For example, in China” is unfinished, and there is no developed supporting example. Your position is also unclear in the opening sentence, “I personally believe that there should awareness for this problem.” The response is 101 words below the required minimum, which leaves too little space to develop the ideas. Explain each cause and solution and complete a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure: the first paragraph introduces the issue, the second gives causes, and the third proposes solutions. Linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “In addition,” and “For example” show an attempt to connect points. However, progression is limited, and several ideas are placed together without explaining their relationship. For instance, the discussion moves from awareness in the village to city facilities and then to recycling areas without a clear sequence. Some linking phrases are also mechanical, including “First and formal.” The final example is cut off, so the response does not reach a clear conclusion. Organise the body paragraphs around one main point each, explain the connection between sentences, and finish with a brief concluding statement.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “recycle,” “rubbish,” “population,” “proper areas,” and “trash dumping areas,” which makes the general subject understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning less clear. Examples include “awareness for this problem,” “the recycleing,” “biodegrables,” and “things for recycle.” Spelling errors such as “numereous,” “belive,” and “Goverment” are noticeable. Try to use more precise terms and check spelling and word forms; for example, refer to “recycling facilities” or “recycling bins” rather than repeatedly using “proper areas.” This would make the explanation clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, such as “With the help of this people will know about recycle,” but control is weak and errors occur frequently. Examples include “individuals do not recycle their rubbish they could,” which needs a connector or a different structure, and “there should awareness,” which is missing a grammatical element. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and sentence construction in “The most of the population in my village does not know about recycle” and “there are no biodegrables are placed.” Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, as in “problem The Goverment.” Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add subordinate clauses using clear connectors such as “because” and “although.”
