Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both parts of the question: you identify limited public awareness and inadequate recycling facilities as causes, then suggest education, regulation and incentives. These are relevant ideas, and the conclusion restates the main causes and the need for action. However, some points are less fully developed than others. For example, you say residents in developing cities lack separate bins, but do not explain how this directly discourages recycling or give a specific example of an effective infrastructure change. The proposed financial incentives are also mentioned without explaining what form they might take. Develop each main point with a clear explanation or a concrete example to make your response more complete and persuasive.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, one on solutions, and a conclusion. This makes the main direction easy to follow, and linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “For instance,” and “To conclude” help signal relationships between ideas. At times, however, cohesion is mechanical or unclear. The opening lists causes and solutions before the essay repeats them, while “Despite the aforementioned reason” does not clearly introduce the solutions paragraph. In the example about volunteer workshops, the connection between the example and the proposed government action is also difficult to follow. Use transitions that express the precise relationship between ideas, and make references such as “this” or “these” clearly point to a specific idea.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “lack of awareness,” “logistical infrastructure,” “financial incentive,” and “sustainable recycling habits.” These choices show an attempt to discuss the issue beyond basic everyday language. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less clear. For example, “use again and again their garbage” is not a natural way to describe recycling, and “recycling product” does not clearly express the idea of recyclable materials. There are also misspellings such as “rubish,” “knowlege,” and “exucation.” Build accuracy by learning common topic collocations and checking spelling and word forms; this will let your relevant vocabulary communicate ideas more precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional and subordinate clauses, as in “If individuals have less knowledge …, it may lead to less use of recycling product.” This gives the response some structural variety. However, errors in sentence construction, verb forms, agreement, articles and punctuation recur, and some sentences are difficult to interpret. For example, “several measure take to mitigate this problem” lacks a correctly formed verb phrase, while “the reluctance of recycling primary influence by…” has an incomplete passive construction. Commas and spacing around punctuation are also inconsistent. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then check each complex sentence for a complete main clause, correct verb form and clear punctuation.
